Marie B. Spude

Marie B. Spude (Mrs. Roland) 77, Luxemburg died Thursday morning February 24, 2011 following a brief illness. She was born in Green Bay on October 29, 1933 to the late Amie and Sarah (Tebon) Wery. On August 17, 1955 Marie married Roland L. Spude at St. Louis Church, Dyckesville. He preceded her in death May 13, 2009. Marie was a sweet, gentle, loving and caring person who always put the needs of others first. She was a homemaker and caretaker her whole life. She was a wonderful and loving wife, mother and grandmother. The real joys of her life were her grandchildren and great-grandchildren; she loved to always have them around. She enjoyed baking, beautiful flowers, listening to polkas, country music and playing cards. She will be dearly and sadly missed by all who knew her and never be forgotten.. Survivors include her five children, Rod (Kathy) Spude, Luxemburg, Patty (Paul) Bouche, Dyckesville, Roxanne (Don) McMahon, Theresa Spude, Christine (Andy) Zimmerman all of Luxemburg, ten grandchildren, Heather Spude (fiancé Mark), Kristopher (Heather) Spude, Jamie Johnson (fiancé Kevin), Derrick Johnson (fiancé Tiffany), Katlyn Johnson (friend Nick), Ashley McMahon, Andrea McMahon (fiancé Marshall), Brandon, Tyler and Devon Zimmerman, Brad Bouche, Brittany Thornton, nine great-grandchildren, Gabrielle, Gavin, Griffin, Logan, Rianne, Karleigh, Amber, Brandon and Steven, nine sisters-in–law and five brothers-in-law, Madeline Wery, Lucille Wery, both of Green Bay, Laverne Berg, Denmark, Regina Simon, Tacoma, WA., Janet Bouche, Algoma, Albert Spude, Green Bay, Donald (Angela) Spude, Gilbert (Diane) Spude, all of Brussels, Harvey (Ida) Ropson, Algoma, Barney (Carol) Soquet, Mountain and special family friend Laura Theys, Casco. Marie was preceded in death by, three grandchildren, Joshua and twins Justin and Jared Zimmerman, five brothers and one sister, Goldie (LaVerne) Wery, Lena Wery, Louie (Norma) Wery, Lillian (Bill) Delwiche, Jule Wery, Edwin (Dora) Wery, Donald Wery, six brothers-in-law and six sisters-in-law, Milton (Verna) Spude, Eugene (Mary Ann) Spude, Jean Spude, Margaret (Marvin Haegle) Soquet, Evelyn Ropson, Helen Spude, Raymond Simon, Gene Berg, Robert Bouche Sr. Friends may call 1:00 pm to 4:45 pm Sunday, February 27, 2011 at the McMAHON FUNERAL HOME, LUXEMBURG.
