Randall “Randy” M. Dalebroux, 61, Luxemburg passed away peacefully at home March 9, 2011 after a six month courageous battle with cancer. He was born in Green Bay on December 28, 1949 to Aurelia (Zellner) Dalebroux and the late Gerald Dalebroux. He was a graduate of Luxemburg-Casco High School, class of 1968. Randy married Mary Gillis on November 10, 1990 at Northbrook Country Club in Luxemburg. Randy loved the outdoors including camping, working in the yard, country rides, all sports, especially the Green Bay Packers, and weekend visits with his grandchildren. Randy had a deep love for his wife, children, grandchildren, family and many friends. Lily was “daddy’s little girl”, the family cat. Randy was an original member of the Northbrook Fantasy Football League for 25 years. He was commissioner of the league for the last 12 years and his team “Rugs and Jugs” finally taking home their first Super Bowl championship title this year. He was employed at N.E.W. Plastics for 39 years which he was a very dedicated employee. Randy is survived by his wife of 20 years Mary, one stepson, Chris (Tanya) Pavlik, Manitowoc, two sons, Brandon and Brent Dalebroux at home, three grandchildren, Bailey, Alyssa and Jacob Pavlik, his mother, Aurelia Dalebroux, Luxemburg, three brothers and three sisters, Sally (Mike) Wiericks, Casco, Brian (Marcia) Dalebroux, Luxemburg, Todd (Karen) Dalebroux, Minneapolis, Minnesota, Michael (Joanie) Dalebroux, Luxemburg, Michelle (Patrick) Morris, New Franken, Maria Dalebroux, Denver, Colorado, four brothers-in-law and one sister-in-law, John Gillis, Joe Gillis, Steve (Heidi) Gillis, all of Green Bay, Jerry Gillis (special friend Jill) Denmark, aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and many friends. Randy was preceded in death by his father, Gerald Dalebroux, his father-in-law and his mother-in-law, Irvin and Doris Gillis, one brother-in-law, Donald C. Gillis, one nephew Joseph Chase Gillis, grandparents, Alex and Louise Dalebroux, William and Catharine Zellner. Friends may call at the McMAHON FUNERAL HOME, LUXEMBURG, 2 to 6 p.m. Sunday March 13, 2011. Closing parish prayer service 6:00 p.m. Sunday. Visitation will continue between 9:30 a.m. and 10:45 a.m. Monday at St. Mary Church, Luxemburg. Funeral 11:00 a.m. at the Church with Rev. Milton Suess officiating. Burial will be in St. Mary Cemetery, Luxemburg. The family would like to extend a sincere thank you to Green Bay Oncology, especially Dr. Matthew Ryan and Nicole, Dr. James Leenstra, nurses and staff, cancer research program, Unity Hospice and our dear friends who helped in so many ways. In lieu of flowers a memorial fund will be established.
