Roger V. Luedtke Roger Vernon Luedtke, 72, Luxemburg died peacefully in his sleep Thursday evening, March 31, 2011 at San Luis Manor Nursing Home, Green Bay. He was born June 6, 1938 to the late Harvey and Agnes (Hermans) Luedtke. On May 10, 1958 Roger married Arlene M. Glaser at Grace Lutheran Church, Green Bay. Together they ran the family farm while Roger operated a snow removal business in the Village of Luxemburg. Following the sale of the farm, Roger was employed with Fleet Farm until his retirement, later working at Battens True Value in Luxemburg. His enjoyments included taking Arlene out to eat and car rides in the country, along with spending time with his grandchildren and special dog Buddy. Survivors include his wife of 52 years, Arlene, one daughter in law, Debbie (Bill Urban) Luedtke, Luxemburg, two grandchildren, Dawn (friend Troy Hatten) Luedtke, Green Bay, Brook (friend Justin Anderson) Luedtke, Luxemburg, one brother in law, Virgil Thiele, Green Bay. Roger was preceded in death by one son, Kevin Luedtke, one sister, Iris Thiele, Friends may call at St. John Lutheran Church, 700 Heritage Road, Luxemburg 3:30 pm to 6:15 pm Tuesday, April 5, 2011. Funeral 6:30 pm at the church with Rev. Carl Brewer officiating. Entombment will be private.
