Glenn H. Duescher, 61, Montpelier died Tuesday morning April 5, 2011 at his home. He was born March 3, 1950 in Green Bay to Alida B. (Haag) Duescher and the late Harvey A. Duescher. On October 13, 1973 Glenn married Beverly Reckelberg at St. Paul Lutheran Church in Montpelier. He lived his entire life in the Town of Montpelier on the Duescher family farm. He graduated from Luxemburg-Casco H.S. in 1968 and was a carpenter by trade for many years. Glenn was employed with Kewaunee Fabrication retiring in January. His enjoyments included tractor-pulls, restoring antique tractors, 4 wheeling and spending time with his children and grandchildren. Survivors include his wife of 37 years, Beverly, and their three children, Rick ( Jackie) Duescher, Kewaunee, Carrie Dequaine, Luxemburg, Pamela (Dylan) Cooper, Montpelier, six grandchildren, Carli and Brody Duescher, Tayana and Abi Dequaine, Drake and Daphne Cooper, his mother, Alida B. Duescher, Luxemburg, his father in law and mother in law, William and Dolores Reckelberg, Luxemburg, four brothers and four sisters in law, Kenneth (Nola) Duescher, Jim (Pat) Duescher, all of Luxemburg, Reverend Steve (Connie) Duescher, CA. Roger (Rose) Duescher, TX., two sisters and two brothers in law, Marilyn (Otto) Mueller, Luxemburg, Joan (Bill) Ducat, Two Rivers, many brothers in law, sisters in law, nieces and nephews further survive him. Friends may call at the McMAHON FUNERAL HOME, LUXEMBURG, 3:00 to 8:00 pm. Thursday (today) April 7, 2011. Visitation will continue between 10:00 and 10:45 am Friday at St. Paul Lutheran Church, Montpelier. Funeral 11:00 am at the church with Rev. Daniel Grams officiating. Burial in St. Paul Lutheran Cemetery, Montpelier. In lieu of flowers a memorial fund will be established. The family wishes to send a Thank you to the Doctors and Staff of Green Bay Oncology, St. Vincent Hospital and Unity Hospice for care given to Glenn.
