Kenneth J. Jergenson Kenneth “Jay Bird” J. Jergenson, 55, Luxemburg, died Thursday evening May 19, 2011 at a Milwaukee Hospital. He was born March 15, 1956 in Manitowoc to Marie (Petrick) and the late Warren Jergenson. On April 26, 1980 Ken married Connie Haen at St. Mary Church in Luxemburg. Together they ran a dairy farm in Luxemburg for 16 years, later he began a career with Total Dairy Service in Kewaunee. His enjoyments included farming, hunting, fishing, playing with his dog Duece, riding his Harley, and mostly spending time with his family. Survivors include his wife of 31 yrs., Connie, and their children, Michelle (Jeff Kapinos) Jergenson, Denmark, Jamie Jergenson, Milwaukee, Ross Jergenson, Luxemburg, his mother, Marie Jergenson, Mishicot, four brothers and 2 sisters in law, David (Linda) Jergenson, Kewaunee, Mark (Sue Koss) Jergenson, Mishicot, Neil (Laure Doperalski) Jergenson, Casco, Scott (Wendy) Jergenson, Kewaunee, one sister and one brother in law, Julie Jergenson, Tish Mills, Jeff Stock, Newton, brothers in law and sisters in law, Cheri (Andy) Miller, Appleton, Carla (Rito) Castro, Green Bay, Randy (Anna) Haen, Rosendale, Carrie Jo (Greg) Michiels, Appleton, Leanne (Jon) Pinkert, Sturgeon Bay, Scott (Tracie) Haen, Freedom, his father in law and mother in law, LeRoy and Mae Haen, Luxemburg, many nieces and nephews. Ken was preceded in death by his father, Warren Jergenson, one brother, Jim Jergenson and one sister, Kay Stock. Friends may call at McMAHON FUNERAL HOME, LUXEMBURG 2:00 pm to 7:00pm Sunday, May 22, 2011. Closing parish prayer service 7:00 pm on Sunday. Visitation will continue between 9:00 am and 10:15 am Monday at Holy Trinity Church, Casco. Funeral 10:30 am Monday at the church with Rev. Milton Suess officiating. Entombment in the Shrine of The Good Shepherd Mausoleum, Green Bay. In lieu of flowers a memorial fund will be established in Ken’s name. The family wishes to express a special thank you to the Doctors and Staff of fifth and sixth floor St. Vincent Hospital, Green Bay, and CVICU at St. Lukes Hospital, Milwaukee.
