Evelyn M. DeGrave Evelyn M. DeGrave, 90, Luxemburg died early Wednesday morning May 25, 2011 at Oak Creek Assisted Living in Luxemburg. She was born June 27, 1920 in Thiry Daems to the late Fabian and Anna (Hoffman) Junion. On June 27, 1939 Evelyn married Alvin Jule DeGrave at St. Odile Church, Thiry Daems. He preceded her in death December 13, 1995. Evelyn was a loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother who loved to bake, play cards, complete word search puzzles and visit with family and friends. Survivors include her son and daughter in law, Francis “Frank” and Pat DeGrave, Green Bay, one son in law, Ronald (Diane) Jeanquart, Brussels, seven grandchildren, Vicki (Dave) Tegtman, Chris (Colleen) DeGrave, Greg (Nancy) DeGrave, Rhonda (Frank) Hassemer, Lori (David) Karas, Tricia (Kevin) Wilke, Renee (Willie) McAllister, nineteen great-grandchildren, Erica (Joe) Stehsel, Janelle (Josh) Martell, Kristen (Kyle) Castro, Tanner and Hailey DeGrave, Logan and Mike DeGrave, Heidi Stueck, Kayla Englebert, Nathan and Michelle Jeanquart, Phillip Karas, Rebecca, Rachael and Ruth Wilke, Trenton Phillips, Alexis, Sophia and Kane McAllister, two great-great-grandchildren, Chloe Martell and Carter Englebert, one sister in law, Arlene Deprey, Casco, nieces and nephews. Evelyn was preceded in death by one daughter Linda Jeanquart, five brothers, Clarence (Alice), Art, Ben (Esther), Raymond, Fabian (Blanche) Junion, one sister, Anna (Felix) Rank, brothers in law and sisters in law, William (Grace) DeGrave, Eunice (Donald) Splingaire, Donald Deprey. Friends may call at the McMAHON FUNERAL HOME, LUXEMBURG, 4:00 to 7:30 pm (Today) Thursday, May 26, 2011. Closing parish prayer service 7:30 pm Thursday. Visitation will continue Friday between 9:30 and 10:15 am at St. Mary Church, Luxemburg. Funeral 10:30 am at the church with Rev. Milton Suess officiating. Burial in St. Mary Cemetery. The family wishes to thank Dr. Kristin Powell, Rev. Milton Suess and the Staff of Oak Creek Assisted Living for taking such good care of Evelyn.
