Allen G. Thayse Allen G. Thayse, 75, Casco died Sunday evening July 3, 2011 at Bellin Hospital, Green Bay surrounded by his family. He was born in Kewaunee County to the late Louis J. and Elizabeth (Thiry) Thayse on September 26, 1935. On July 18, 1959 Allen married Jean F. Schiltz at Holy Name of Mary Church in Maplewood. Together they farmed in Casco until their retirement in 2001. He was a member of St. Peter Church, Lincoln, a member of The Holy Name Society of St. Peter Church and an usher for the church for many years. Allen was a butcher at various companies including Marchant’s, Fameree’s and Liebman’s Packing Co. His enjoyments included attending Green Bay Packer Games, bowling, hunting, playing cards, an occasional gambling trip, and spending time with his wife, children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Survivors include his wife of nearly 52 years, Jean and their children, Mary Jo (Steven) Byce, Algoma, Lisa (William) Perinovic, Delafield, Beth (Jeffrey) Cravillion, Luxemburg, Jeffrey (Laurie) Thayse, Casco, Michelle (Glenn) Mattison III, DePere, ten grandchildren, Nichole (Josh) Krause, Stephanie Byce, Steven and Brett Perinovic, Mary and Matthew Cravillion, Ryan and Megan Thayse, Glenn IV and Ava Mattison, two great-grandchildren Nora and Rex Krause, two brothers one sister in law, Albert Thayse Suamico, Gary and Sharon Thayse, Casco, one sister and one brother in law, Marie and Melvin Tombal, New Franken, three brothers in law and three sisters in law, Betty and Vernon Kinnard, Casco, Dorothy and Tom Belleau, Jack and Judy Schiltz, all of Kewaunee. Allen was preceded in death by one sister in law, Ruth Thayse. Friends may call at the McMAHON FUNERAL HOME, LUXEMBURG, 3 to 8 pm Wednesday, July 6, 2011 and between 9:00 am and 10:00 am Thursday, July 7, 2011. Parish prayer service 7:00 pm Wednesday with Deacon Paul Zenefski. Funeral 11:00 am Thursday at St. Peter in Lincoln with Rev. Lee Kahrs officiating. Entombment in the Shrine of The Good Shepherd Mausoleum, Green Bay. The family would like to send a note of Thanks to Doctor Mark Kroll, Doctor Matthias Fuchs and the Staff of Bellin Hospital, Green Bay for taking such good care of Allen.
