Germaine M. Prevost Germaine M. Prevost, 74, Luxemburg, died Thursday morning July 21, 2011, surrounded by her family at St. Vincent Hospital, Green Bay, following a short battle with cancer. She was born July 6, 1937 in Tonet to Rose (Tassoul) Romuald and the late Julian Romuald. On November 24, 1955 she married Myron N. Prevost at St. Martin Church in Tonet. He preceded her in death June 4, 1982. Germaine was a member of St. Mary Parish and the Christian Mother’s Society of St. Mary’s in Luxemburg. Her enjoyments included going out to eat and playing cards with family and friends. She was a caring and loving daughter, mother and grandmother who enjoyed taking care of her mother along with babysitting her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She will be deeply missed by her family and friends. Survivors include her mother, Rose Romuald, Luxemburg, three children, Gerald (Jane) Prevost, New Franken, Linda (Ray) Balza, Brian (Stacey) Prevost, all of Luxemburg. six grandchildren, Lisa (Ryan) Schwalen, Gregory (Leila) Balza, Michelle & Christina Prevost, Brianna & Kendall Prevost, three great-grandchildren, Lauren, Ayda, & Autumn, one brother, Dale (Kathy) Romuald, Luxemburg, one brother in law, Larry Prevost, Green Bay, nieces and nephews. Germaine was preceded in death by her husband Myron Prevost, her father, Julian Romuald, her father in law and mother in law Joseph and Laura (Delcore) Prevost. Friends may call at the McMAHON FUNERAL HOME, LUXEMBURG, 4 to 8 pm Sunday July 24, 2011. Closing parish prayer service 8:00 pm. Sunday. Visitation will continue Monday between 9:45 and 10:45 am at St. Mary Church, Luxemburg. Funeral 11:00 am at the church with Rev. Milton Suess officiating. Entombment in the Shrine of The Good Shepherd Mausoleum. In lieu of flowers a memorial fund will be established in Germaine’s name. Germaine’s Family wishes to express their gratitude and appreciation for the loving care and companionship given to our Mother by Marlene and Milton Delwiche and the care provided by the Luxemburg Rescue Squad, the doctors, nurses and staff of St. Vincent Hospital.
