Myron F. Velicer Myron F. Velicer, 67, Dyckesville, entered into eternal life at home while in his wife’s loving arms on Monday December 12, 2011. He was born May 3, 1944 in the town of Montpelier to the late Wencil and Lucille (nee Reynen) Velicer. “Flower”, as Myron was affectionately known as in high school, graduated from Luxemburg High School in 1962. He was united in marriage to Janet Hendricks on November 25, 1965 at St. Louis Catholic Church, Dyckesville. Myron was employed for 31 years at Leicht Transfer & Storage as a semi-driver and crane operator before retiring in 1999. Myron and Janet bought Myron’s family farm in 1973 and raised heifers and pigs until 1980. In 1980 they retired from farming and enjoyed life on the bay of Green Bay. Myron’s faith was very important to him. He was an active member of St. Louis Catholic Church where he served on the church council for many years and helped distribute communion. He loved spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and most recently spending time with his wife at his cabin in the Nicolet Forest. He is survived by his loving wife of 46 years, Janet; his four children, Brenda (David) Dworak, Luxemburg, Julie Baudhuin, Green Bay, Lori (Jeffrey) Grabarkewitz, Grand Rapids, MN, and Jason (Jill) Velicer, West Bend; eight grandchildren, Brian and Matthew Dworak, Heather Baudhuin, Kaylee and Andrew Grabarkewitz, Nicholas, Celia and Aaron Velicer, one brother, Quentin (Paulette) Velicer, Wabeno, three sisters, Dolores (Bill) Kuehl, Florida, Marlene McMillan, Poynette, Grace (Lyle) Sager, Oshkosh, two brothers-in-law and two sisters-in-law, Lee (Karen) Hendricks, IL, Mark (Beverly) Hendricks, Green Bay; and many nieces, nephews, other relatives and close friends. Myron was preceded in death by his parents, his father-in-law and his mother-in-law, Richard and Rosabelle Hendricks, one brother in law, John McMillan. Friends may call the McMAHON FUNERAL HOME, LUXEMBURG, 3 to 8 pm Thursday, December 15, 2011. Parish prayer service 7:00 pm with Sister Marlene Dimmerling. Visitation will continue between 9:00 and 10:45 am Friday at St. Louis Church, Dyckesville. Mass of Christian Burial 11:00 am at the church with Rev. John Van Deuren officiating.
