Benjamin H. Michiels Benjamin “Ben” H. Michiels, 66, Sugar Bush, died early Monday morning December 19, 2011 at a local hospital. He was born in Sugar Bush on September 07, 1945 to the late William H. and Anna (Ducat) Michiels. Ben lived and farmed in the Town of Humboldt area his entire life while working in the construction industry for various companies. He was mostly known for his gardening ability and his willingness to share in the fruits of his labor. Survivors include one sister and four brothers, Mary Ann (Milo) Linzmeier, Tonet, Charles Michiels, Clarence “Peanut” (Dorothy) Michiels, all of Sugar Bush, Clement “Clem” (Janice) Michiels, New Franken, Patrick “Frog” Michiels, Frog Station, several nieces and nephews further survive him. Ben was preceded in death by, two infant brothers, one teen brother, Jim Michiels, one sister in law, Glenda Michiels.
