Robert J. Schlies

Robert J. Schlies Robert “Bob” J. Schlies, 49, Algoma died Tuesday afternoon at Parkview Nursing Home in Green Bay. He was born April 19, 1962 in Kewaunee to the late Louis R. and Ruth E. (Roggenbeau) Schlies. Bob attended St. Paul Lutheran Grade School and graduated in 1980 from Kewaunee High School. He was formerly employed with the Ellisville Dairy, Krohn’s Cheese Factory and East Shore Industries until his illness. He currently was a member of St. John Lutheran Church in Rankin. Survivors include one sister and three brothers, Julie (Duane) Tahlier, Algoma, Gordon (Ruth) Mueller, Kewaunee, Wayne (Maryann) Mueller, Mishicot, Gary (Linda) Schlies, Kewaunee, nieces and nephews. Bob was preceded in death by one brother, Glenn Mueller and one infant niece, Janene Mueller. Friends may call at St. John Lutheran Church, Rankin, Friday, December 30, 2011 between 9:30 am and 11:45 am. Funeral Noon at the church with Pastor John Neugebauer officiating. Burial in St. John Lutheran Cemetery, Rankin. In lieu of flowers a memorial fund will be established.
