Neal H. Graunke Neal “Pally” H. Graunke, 65, West Kewaunee, died unexpectedly early Thursday morning December 29, 2011. He was born in Kewaunee on February 22, 1946 to the late Hubert F. and Evelyn A. (Radke) Graunke. On May 29, 1965 he married Beverly J. Janda at St. Paul Lutheran Church, Montpelier. He was employed with Vollrath Company in Kewaunee for 46 years until his retirement this year. His enjoyments included, bowling, softball, crossword puzzles, yard work, watching the Green Bay Packers and most of all spending time with his grandchildren and his great-grandchild. Survivors include his wife of 46 years, Beverly, and their three children, twin daughters, Dawn Doell, Debbie (Pat) Lensmire, all of Luxemburg, one son, David “Super” (Barbie Kralovetz) Graunke, Tisch Mills, four grandchildren, Shane (Courtney) Doell, Shannon Doell, Kayla Lensmire, Zach Lensmire, one great grand daughter, Aubrianna Doell, three brothers, Dennis (Kathy) Graunke, Florida, John Graunke, Doug (Wendy) Graunke, all of Luxemburg, six sisters, Carolyn Karchinski, Green Bay, Linda (Jerry) Kollross, Luxemburg, Faye Kenney MN., Shirley (Ed) Sinicki, Cindy (Dave) Hardtke, Beverly (Tim) DeJardin, all of Kewaunee, five brothers-in-law and five sisters-in-law, Sharon Duckett, Manitowoc, Charlotte (Mike) Notz, Milwaukee, Roger (Winnie) Janda, Ronald “Barney” Janda, all of Kewaunee, Susan (John) Heim, Luxemburg, Paul “ Gator” (Karen) Janda, Ellisville, many cousins, nieces and nephews further survive him. Neal was preceded in death by, one brother in law, Bob Karchinski, one nephew Dan Loberger, his father-in-law and mother-in-law, Willis and Gertrude Janda, his step-father, Earl Stueck. Friends may call between 9:00 to 11:15am at ST. PAUL LUTHERAN CHURCH, MONTPELIER, Monday, January 2, 2012. Funeral 11:30 am Monday at the church with Rev. Daniel Grams officiating. Burial in St. Paul Lutheran Cemetery, Montpelier. In lieu of flowers a memorial fund will be established. The Family wishes to extend a special note of thanks to the Doctors and Staff of Aurora Hospital, the Kewaunee County First Responders and Rescue Squad for care given to Neal.
