Glenn A. Koehler Glenn A. Koehler, 77, Luxemburg died early Saturday morning, April 7, 2012 at St. Vincent Hospital in Green Bay. He was born in Sheboygan to the late Arno and Irene (Zimmerman) Koehler. On June 27, 1954 he married Marion T. Sommers in Kohler, Wisconsin. Glenn was a History Teacher spending 30 years of his career at Luxemburg-Casco High School, retiring in 1990. A traditional “great day” in Glenn’s life would be to get up in the morning, play 18 holes of golf with his best friend Bill Ehren, and spending the afternoon with a good book listening to classical music. Survivors include his wife of 57 years, Marion and their five children, Tod (Jean) Koehler, N.C, Cory (Randy) Handlen, Green Bay, Wendy Koehler, S.C., Paula (David) Forman, MD, Tom Koehler, Manitowoc, seven grandchildren, Tracey, Shaun, Max, Christy, Christopher, Sam and Sarah, four great-grandchildren, Elizabeth, Ben, Brendan and Austin. Glenn was preceded in death by one grandchild, Mathew Handlen and one sister, Lois Koehler. Friends may call at St. Mary Church, Luxemburg between 9:30 am and 10:45 am on Wednesday, April 11, 2012. Funeral 11:00 am Wednesday at the church with Rev. Milton Suess officiating. A special note of Thanks is extended to the Luxemburg Rescue Squad, Doctor Burns, Doctor Winkler and Doctor Powell for taking such great care of Glenn.
