Dennis C. Zellner Dennis C. Zellner, 67, Walhain died Friday morning April 20, 2012 at a Sturgeon Bay Hospital. He was born in Brown County on December 12, 1944 to Germaine F. (Frisque) and the late Clarence L. Zellner. He graduated from Luxemburg High School in 1963 where he participated in track and wrestling. Dennis was a USDA governmental inspector in the meat packing industry for 20 years. In the late 1980’s he became the owner-operator of Top Shelf Trophies in Walhain, for this business he is best known. He tended to several cemeteries including Sun Prairie, Cottage Grove and most recently St. Amand in Walhain, keeping them proudly manicured. He was a member of the Lions Club, Luxemburg. His enjoyments included bowling, golf, packer games, stock car races, cuyoo tournaments, auctions, Elvis and old time country music. Survivors include his mother: Germaine Zellner, Luxemburg, five brothers four sisters in law, Dale Zellner, Alaska, Wayne (Terry) Zellner, Danny (Lynn) Zellner, Tom (Chris) Zellner all of Luxemburg, Kevin (Nancy) Zellner, Sharon (Dave) VandenHouten all of New Franken, his daughters from a previous marriage, Wendy Mertens, Julie (Tim) Daul all of Green Bay, Annette Rabas, New Franken, eight grandchildren, Corey, Sara, Amanda, Donny, Melissa, Raymond, Ty and Morgan, many nieces and nephews as well as his very close friend, Sharon Boyer, Green Bay. Dennis was preceded in death by his father, Clarence Zellner. Friends may call at the McMAHON FUNERAL HOME, LUXEMBURG 3 to 7 pm. Tuesday April 24, 2012. Closing parish prayer service with Pat Ratajczak Pastoral Associate at 7:00 pm Tuesday. Visitation will continue between 9:15 and 10:15 am Wednesday at St. Joseph Church, Champion. Funeral 10:30 am at the church with Rev. William O’Brien officiating. Burial in St. Amand Cemetery in Walhain.
