Hubert H. DeGuelle Hubert H. DeGuelle, 100, Luxemburg, died early Wednesday morning July 11, 2012 at his home. He was born August 31, 1911 in Rosiere to the late Jule and Adele (Tebon) DeGuelle. On June 17, 1931 he married Evelyn M Delwiche in Namur. She preceded him in death July 30, 1997. He was a milk hauler, farmer, ship yard worker and asphalt paver, retiring 39 years ago. Hubert's greatest enjoyment was tending to his garden, and spending time with his family. He celebrated his 100th birthday in 2011, with a special ride on a 1941 fire truck. Survivors include one daughter and son-in-law, Betty and Edwin LaLuzerne, Luxemburg, four grandchildren, Dean LaLuzerne, Luxemburg, Denise (Tom) LaViolette, Brussels, Dale (Cindy) LaLuzerne, Green Bay, Darren (Sue) LaLuzerne, Luxemburg, 12 great-grandchildren, Jeremy (Tanya) LaLuzerne, Jennifer (Randy) Rosin, Cody LaLuzerne, Dawn (Mike) Wessel, Tammy (friend Eric) Ahlswede, Amy (friend Rich) LaLuzerne, Luci LaLuzerne, Daniel LaLuzerne, Alex LaLuzerne, Alison LaLuzerne, Erin LaLuzerne, Kyle LaLuzerne, 12 great-great-grandchildren, Courtney Weis, Justin, Jade, Jillian LaLuzerne, Peyton, Kennedy, Kelsey, Briley and Brody Rosin, Tommy Wessel, Alexis and Jonathan Ahlswede, many nieces and nephews. Hubert was preceded in death by his, one great-great-grandson, Bradyn Rosin, four siblings, Ella (Henry) Everard, Richard (Josie) DeGuelle, Lillian (Bill) Maccaux, Joe (Bernice) DeGuelle, his father-in-law and his mother-in-law, Frank and Josie (Baudhuin) Delwiche, four brothers-in-law and four sisters-in-law, Anna (John) Granius, Lema (Frank) Loritz, Henry (Mabel) Delwiche, Lillian (Wilmer) DeJardin. Friends may call at the McMAHON FUNERAL HOME, LUXEMBURG, 3:00 to 7:00 pm, Friday July 13, 2012. Closing parish prayer service 7:00 pm Friday. Visitation will continue between 10:00 and 10:45 am Saturday at St. Peter Church in Lincoln. Funeral 11:00 am at the church with Rev. Anthony Birdsall and Deacon Paul Zenefski officiating. Entombment in the Shrine of The Good Shepherd Mausoleum, Green Bay.
