Dale A. Kintopf Dale A. Kintopf, 55 Luxemburg passed away unexpectedly Wednesday, November 14, 2012. He was born February 18, 1957 in Algoma to Albert and Shirley (Hearley) Kintopf. He graduated from Algoma High School class of 1975 and went on to pursue welding and received a degree in plumbing from NWTC. On May 26, 1984 he married Jennifer Kienbaum at St. Bernard Catholic Church, Green Bay. Dale was a journeyman plumber and employed with Baumann Plumbing & Heating for many years. A true handyman at heart, he was always ready to lend a hand to family and friends. Dale's greatest joy in life was the time he spent fishing at the pier in Algoma, he took great pride in his catch and he looked forward to deer hunting season every year as well. He enjoyed vacationing with his family and friends. Dale was a loving husband, proud father of his two sons and the way he lived his life will be carried out through them. Survivors include his wife of 28 years, Jenny and their two sons, Andy (his partner Adrien) Montreal, QC, Nick (friend Dani), Luxemburg, his parents, Albert and Shirley Kintopf, Luxemburg, two brothers, Paul (Suzanne) Kintopf, Jenison, MI, Darrell (his partner Jim) Appleton, one brother in law and one sister in law, Todd and Kathy Kienbaum, Port Richey, FL, two nieces, his godchild, Michelle (Eric) Munyon, Bridgman, MI. and Christina (Kevin) Fox, Hudsonville, MI, Aunts, Uncles, cousins, other relatives and friends further survive him. Dale was preceded in death by and infant sister, Mary Ellen, one brother David Kintopf, his Father in law and Mother in law, Walter and Doris Kienbaum and his dog Sadie. Friends may call at the McMAHON FUNERAL HOME, LUXEMBURG, 4:00 to 8:00 pm, Monday, November 19, 2012. Parish prayer service 7:00 pm. on Monday with Deacon Bob Miller. Visitation will continue between 9:30 and 10:45 am. Tuesday at St. Mary Church, Luxemburg. Funeral 11:00 am at the church with Rev. Milton Suess officiating. Burial in Holy Cross Cemetery, Two Rivers. The Family wishes to express a special thank you to Door County Sheriff Department, the Door County Rescue Squad and the Bretl Family for your warmth and kindness.
