Fred "Pete" E Hanamann

Fred "Pete" Hanamann Fred "Pete" E. Hanamann, 80, Green Bay, died early Friday morning January 4, 2013 at Bornemann Nursing Home. He was born October 6, 1932 to the late Carl and Mary (Seidl) Hanamann and grew up in the Casco area. On January 12, 1957 Pete married Ardis Miesler at St. John Lutheran Church, Luxemburg. She preceded him in death July 10, 2009. Pete was employed with Procter and Gamble Co. for 36 years retiring in 1992. His enjoyments included watching the Green Bay Packers, Milwaukee Brewers and Duke University basketball games. He was also an avid NASCAR fan. Survivors include his daughter, Mary Kay; one brother Carl (Betty) Hanamann, Greenville; one sister-in-law Lorna (LeRoy) Jaeger, Green Bay; nieces and nephews. Pete was preceded in death by his parents, his wife, one brother & two sisters-in-law Russell (Eunice) Hanamann, Agnes Landwehr- Hanamann, one brother-in-law and one sister-in-law, Warren and Mildred Miesler, his father-in-law and mother-in-law, Gus and Ada Miesler. Friends may call at St. JOHN LUTHERAN CHURCH, LUXEMBURG between 9:30 and 10:45 am, Monday, January 7, 2013. Funeral 11:00 am Monday at the church with Rev. Carl Brewer officiating. Burial in St. John Lutheran Cemetery, Luxemburg. McMAHON FUNERAL HOME, LUXEMBURG, is assisting the Hanamann Family. The Family extends a special Thanks to the Bornemann Nursing Home, Unity Hospice and the Nurses on the 9th floor St. Vincent Hospital. Also and extra special thanks to Dr. Gerald Bayer, Kristen Rodeheaver and the nurses at Green Bay Oncology; Dr. Zhaowei Ai, Amanda Woulf of Prevea Health; Dr. Kristen Powell at the Luxemburg Clinic.
