Clarence H. Jacobs Clarence H. Jacobs, 72, Champion, passed into eternal life with his family at his side, Monday morning January 28, 2013 at St. Vincent Hospital, Green Bay of a blood clot following surgery. He was born October 7, 1940 in Bay Settlement to the late Albert and Mamie (DeGroot) Jacobs. On September 17, 1960 he married Dianne DeKeyser at Holy Cross Church, Bay Settlement. He farmed in the area until retirement in 2011. His enjoyments included road trips throughout the U.S.A, fishing, especially blue gills, playing pool, cards and family time in the shop. He was known as "Papa C". Survivors include his loving wife and best friend of 52 years, Dianne, and their seven children, Cathy (Ken) Dart, Luxemburg, Randy Jacobs, Dyckesville, Gary Jacobs, Daniel Jacobs, Dale (Kim) Jacobs, Tom (Danielle) Jacobs, all of New Franken, Jeanne (Jeff Jarvey) Jacobs, Suamico, 15 grandchildren, Michael (friend Laura Van Ess) Dart, Joanne (Brad) Belter, Julie (Ryan) Dahlke, Jennifer Dart, Aliza Jacobs, Dalton, Alex and Brandon Jacobs, McKenzie, Mary, Steven, Ben, Michelle and Amanda Jacobs, Jacob Jarvey, two great-grandchildren, Bryce and Madison Belter, one brother, Raymond (Rosie) Jacobs, Luxemburg, two sisters, Shirley Strebel, Shawano, Geraldine (Melvin) Nooyen, Green Bay, four brothers in law and four sisters in law, David (Lynne) DeKeyser, De Pere, Thomas (Lois Hawk) DeKeyser, OR, Jerry (Rose Mary) DeKeyser, Luxemburg, Norbert Cravillion, Green Bay and Eva Jacobs, New Franken, many nieces and nephews. Clarence was preceded in death by one infant daughter, Jo Ann, one brother, Orville, five sisters and four brothers in law, Lavern (Cyril) Ronk, Dorothy (Alvin) Falish, Ethel Cravillion, Loretta (Edward) Cashman, Rita (Cletus) Speerschneider, his father in law and mother in law, Alphonse DeKeyser Jr. and Frances Bohm. Friends may call at McMAHON FUNERAL HOME, LUXEMBURG, 3:00 to 8:00 pm. Thursday January 31, 2013. Parish rosary 7:00 pm Thursday. Visitation will continue between 9:00 and 10:15 am Friday, February 1, 2013 at St. Joseph Church, Champion. Funeral 10:30 am Friday at the church with Father Andrew Kurz officiating. Entombment in the Shrine of the Good Shepherd Mausoleum, Green Bay. The family wishes to extend a special Thank you to Dr. Rupp and Surgical Staff, and the ICU and Critical Care Unit nurses of St. Vincent Hospital for all of your help and support.
