Jean J. Lynch Jean J. Lynch (Mrs. William), 86 of Tomahawk died early Wednesday morning, June 12, 2013 at Golden Living Center, Riverview. She was born September 9, 1925 in Solon Spring, Wisconsin to the late Joseph G. and Mildred I. (Sweet) Newton. On November 24, 1950 she married William "Bill" J. Lynch in Merrill Wisconsin. He preceded her in death February 7, 2012. Jean was a homemaker all of her life in Merrill and Tomahawk, while retiring from the Department of Natural Resources as a Clerk, twenty plus years ago. She was an avid crafter, loved to sew, creating numerous outfits over the years. Jean was a member of Christian Science Church, Tomahawk. Survivors include one brother, Robert Newton, Milwaukee, one daughter-in-law, Sharon L. Lynch, Casco, five grandchildren, ten great-grandchildren, one great-great-grandson, nieces and nephews. Jean was preceded in death by one son, Jeffrey Lynch, many brothers in law and sisters in law further preceded.
