Theresa A. Spude

December 5, 1965 — June 29, 2013

Theresa A. Spude On Saturday afternoon, June 29th, 2013, Theresa A. Spude, 47, of Luxemburg, was reunited with her parents, Roland and Marie (Wery) Spude, in Heaven. After many years of medical problems, Theresa is finally free of pain and illness. Theresa was born in Green Bay on December 5th, 1965, and graduated from Luxemburg-Casco High School in 1984. She worked for many years in the food service industry including time at Country Kitchen, Chili John’s, the Zuider Zee, and Aurora Hospital. Although Theresa had many medical problems, her great sense of humor and sassy mouth often left everyone laughing. She loved spending time with family and friends, playing cards and Yahtzee, and going to Tupperware Bingo parties. Her love of nature, animals, and travel were expressed through her beautiful photography and poetry. She will be dearly missed by all who knew her. Theresa is survived by one brother and three sisters: Rodney (Kathy) Spude, Patty (Paul) Bouche, Roxanne (Don) McMahon, and Christine (Andy) Zimmerman, and by her long-time friends Shawn Curry and Pat Ratajczak, all from the Luxemburg area. She is also survived by her Godchildren Ashley McMahon and Brandon Zimmerman and many other nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews whom she loved as if they were her own. She is preceded in death by her parents and three infant nephews; Joshua, Justin and Jared Zimmerman. Friends may call at St. Louis Church, Dyckesville, Friday, July 5, 2013 between 2:00 and 6:00 pm. Funeral Prayer Service will be held on Friday at 6:00 pm with Pat Ratajczak, Pastoral Leader. Burial in St. Louis Cemetery, Dyckesville. McMAHON FUNERAL HOME, LUXEMBURG is assisting the Spude Family. www.mcmahonfh.com The family would like to extend a heart felt thank you to her favorite nurse Sarah for her many years of special care; the Michiels family; and to the staff of Bellin Hospital ICU; and words can not express our gratitude to Dr. Neu, Marsha and the entire Staff at Davita Dialysis Center for their many years of taking care of "Trouble" with a capital "T"!
