Richard A. Funk Richard A. Funk, 67, Luxemburg died unexpectedly Thursday evening, July 4, 2013. He was born in Rock County, Wisconsin on July 1, 1946 to the late Melvin A. and Elinore R. (McCabe) Funk. On August 17, 1969 Rick married Bonnie J. Albright in Milton, Wisconsin. Together they farmed in the Luxemburg area until 1994. Richard then became a taxi driver until his retirement. His enjoyments included racing and aviation. He was an avid reader and truly enjoyed his family and spending time with them. Survivors include his wife of nearly 45 years, Bonnie and their two children, Robert (Sara) Funk, Casco, Tricia (Bob) Pauze', DePere, five grandchildren, Aaron and Michael Funk, Josie, Kate and Natalie Pauze', one brother in law and two sisters in law, Butch and Julie Albright, Rae Ellen Stone, all of Janesville, nieces and nephews. Rick was preceded in death by one brother in law, David Stone. Friends may call at St. John Lutheran Church, 700 Heritage Road, Luxemburg, Wisconsin, between NOON and 4:00 pm, Sunday, July 7, 2013. Funeral at 4:00 pm, Sunday at the church with Rev. Carl Brewer officiating. Burial in St. John Lutheran Cemetery, Luxemburg.
