Ione C. Dufek Ione C. Dufek, 87, Pilsen died peacefully in her sleep on Friday, July 12, 2013 at her home. She was born in Tonet on July 17, 1925 to the late Julian J. and Marie A. (Gasche) Frisque. On January 11, 1947, Ione married Francis G. Dufek Sr. at St. Martin Church, Tonet. He preceded her in death on December 05, 1997. Together they ran a small dairy farm in Pilsen until retirement in 1987. Ione was a member of St. Therese Parish, Pilsen, Carlton Legion Auxiliary, Denmark VFW Auxiliary, The Wisconsin Czech Club, Czech of Norman and Wisconsin Czech Choraliers. Her enjoyments included cooking, gardening, bird watching, fishing, traveling and the outdoors in general. Survivors include her seven children, Joseph (Bonnie) Dufek, Green Bay, Allen (Onnie) Dufek, Indian River Michigan, David (Barbara) Dufek, Green Bay, Nancy Dufek, Pilsen, Fran (Kathy) Dufek, Champion, Dennis (Cheryl) Dufek, Luxemburg, Linda (Joe) Hronek, Green Bay, 15 grandchildren, Scott, Todd, Ed, Barbara, Amy, Dan, Jennifer, Melissa, Aaron, Melaine, Matt, Dana, Nicole, Justin and Brandon; 15 great-grandchildren, one great-great-granddaughter, one brother and one sister in law, Orville and Carol Frisque, Green Bay, one brother in law, James Dufek, Green Bay, nieces and nephews. Ione was preceded in death by one infant son, one sister and one brother in law, Audrey and George Capelle, two brothers in law and two sisters in law, Joseph Dufek, Mary Lou Dufek, Mary Ann and Dick Schulist, her father in law and mother in law, George and Julia Dufek. Friends may call at St. Therese Parish, St. Joseph-St. John Site, Pilsen on Monday, July 15, 2013 between 9:00 am and 10:45 am. Funeral 11:00 am at the church with Rev. Dennis Drury officiating.
