Verle M. Dax Verle M. Dax, 86, Luxemburg died late Friday evening, September 13, 2013, surrounded by her family at Fred and Mamie's Home in Luxemburg. She was born in Dyckesville on July 27, 1927 to the late John L. and Odile C. (Guilette) Wery. On September 23, 1950 she married Donald J. Dax at Holy Trinity Church, Casco. He preceded her in death November 04, 2004. She was a member of St. Mary Church, Luxemburg and the Christian Mother Society. Verle worked for the Luxemburg School District transporting hot lunches to the local schools and driving the special education van for several years. Her enjoyments included polka dancing, playing cards with her friends, her flower garden, family gatherings especially holidays. Her family was her pride and joy. Survivors include her six children, Michael (Sharon) Dax, Luxemburg; Mary (Todd) Ouradnik, Casco; Joan (fiancé' Michael Schultz) VandenBush, Kewaunee; Janet (Dennis) Delebreau, Casco; Julie ( friend, Gary Blohowiak) Johnson, Green Bay; Rodney (Alison) Dax, Luxemburg, 18 grandchildren, 31 great-grandchildren, one sister, Valeria Romuld, Champion; three brothers and four sisters-in-law, Larry and Elaine Wery, Casco; Arlen and Judy Wery, Algoma, Ron and Judy Wery, Mary Wery, all of Green Bay; two brothers-in-law and four sisters-in-law, Joseph and Susie Dax, Larry and Carolyn Dax, Myra Daul, all of Luxemburg, Esther Borkevetz, Sturgeon Bay, many nieces and nephews. Verle was preceded in death by two sons-in-law, Kelly VandenBush, Jim Johnson, one brother, John Wery, three brothers-in-law and one sister-in-law, Robert Daul, Ronald Romuld, Bob Borkovetz and Doris Dax, her father-in-law and mother-in-law, Joseph and Esther (Friex) Dax. Friends may call at St. Mary Church, Luxemburg, 4:00 to 7:30 pm, Monday, September 16, 2013. Closing Christian Mother's Rosary at 7:30 pm on Monday. Visitation will continue between 9:00 and 10:45 am, Tuesday, September 17, 2013. Funeral 11:00 am, Tuesday at the Church with Rev. Milton Suess officiating. Burial in St. Mary Cemetery, Luxemburg.
