Lloyd F. Bredael Lloyd (Porky) F Bredael, 82, of Luxemburg, died peacefully at home with his family at his side on Wednesday October 2, 2013. Lloyd was born in Green Bay on November 17, 1930 to the late Harvey and Viola (Joppe) Bredael. He attended St. Mary’s Catholic School and graduated from Luxemburg High school in 1948. On May 20,1950, he married his high school sweetheart, Eileen VandenBush at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Humboldt. They had 63 beautiful years together. Lloyd was a life long member of St. Mary Church, Luxemburg and a 75 year member of the Catholic Order of Foresters. He owned and operated Bredeal’s Bar and Bowl in Luxemburg for over 30 years, in addition was a rural mail carrier until he retired in 1990. In his retirement he enjoyed bowling, golfing at NorthBrook Country Club and attending his grandchildren’s sports activities. He also enjoyed fishing, hunting and taking his nightly rides around town. He was a devout Catholic who often started his day by attending daily mass and praying his rosary. He was a generous, hardworking, and loving man with a great sense of humor. Anybody who knew him will remember one of his many funny stories and famous one liners. He is survived by his wife of 63 years, Eileen, and six children, Nancy (David) Buhr, Green Bay; Fred (Roxie) Bredael, Casco; Julie (Hank) Deprey, Lori (Glenn) Salmon, Luxemburg: Lynn (John) Michiels, Green Bay; Mikki Kinnard (Special Friend Bob Jandrain) Luxemburg; twenty grandchildren, Randy (Amy) Buhr, Tim Buhr (Special Friend Andrea Rentmester), Stephanie (Jon) Woelfel, Bridgett (Greg) Jandrain, Bill (Tammy) Bredael, Brooke Bredael (Special Friend Kyle Kahr), Briel (Matt) Chike, Tina (Andy) Haegele, Tammy (Steve) Teumer, Amy Deprey, Luke (Special Friend Beth Mizer), Jay, and Kayla Salmon, Josh (Special Friend Danielle Dworak), Shane (Special Friend Brooke Koenig) and Alex Michiels, Steffi, Cassi, Lexi and Jack Kinnard, thirteen great grandchildren Brianna, Ava, Josie, Riley, Aleece, Myles, Calvin, Elsie, Bowie, Trever, Austin, Callie and his newest great grandchild Cameron Lloyd born September 30, 2013. He is further survived by brothers and sisters Julie Michiels, Appleton; Jim and Laverne Bredael, Dyckesville; Gloria Cleereman, Judy and Earl Baierl, Green Bay; Mark and Lana Bredael, Cooperstown; Tom and Eunice Bredael, Green Bay; brothers and sisters-in-law Rita VandenBush, Green Bay; Emerita and Hank Hinnendael, Madison; Agnes and Ken Hettmann, DePere; Jane and Wencil Mleziva Green Bay, many nieces and nephews. Lloyd was preceded in death by brothers Monty Paul Bredael and Raymond Bredael, mother-in-law and father-in-law Martin and Anna VandenBush, brothers-in-law, Jerry Cleereeman and Harold VandenBush. Friends may call at McMAHON FUNERAL HOME, LUXEMBURG Friday October 4, 2013, 3:00-8:00 pm with a closing prayer service 8:00 pm Friday with Deacon Bob Miller. Visitation will continue between 8:30 and 10:15 am Saturday, October 5th at St. Mary’s Catholic Church, Luxemburg. Mass of Christian burial 10:30am Saturday with Rev. Milton Suess officiating. Dad always made each one of us feel like he was so proud of us and he will be greatly missed. We were so lucky to have had such a wonderful father.
