Dorothy M. DeGrave Dorothy M. DeGrave (Mrs. Ervine E. DeGrave), 81, Luxemburg died late Friday evening, October 4, 2013. She was born September 25, 1932 in Kewaunee County to the late George J. and Elsie (Hanamann) Siegmund. On September 24, 1955 she married Ervine E. DeGrave at St. John Lutheran Church, Luxemburg. Dorothy will always be remembered as the "bread baker" and the "cookie Grandma" for her homemade treats, "the quilter" for the hundreds of quilts she constructed with the St. John Lutheran Ladies Aid, "the rag rug maker" and the "pickle lady" for the thousands of quarts of Russian Dill Pickles she has canned over her life. Survivors include her husband of 58 years, Ervine and their five children, Sandy (Tom) Stein, Denmark; Dan (Jennifer) DeGrave, Casco; Mary Breitlow, Kewaunee; Laurie (Jerry) DeKeyser, Algoma; Jeremy (Tina) DeGrave, Luxemburg; 13 grandchildren, Jon, Beckie, Ben and Betsy Stein, Adam (Jamie) DeGrave, Joshua (Roxann) DeGrave, Sadie (Sam) Ehlers, Aaron (Nicole) Breitlow, Carmon Breitlow, Gretchen (Gary) Garside, Jordan DeKeyser, Taylor and Jacob DeGrave, six great-grandchildren, one brother two sisters-in-law, Don and LaVerne Siegmund, Delores Siegmund, all of Green Bay, two brothers-in-law and one sister-in-law, Gordon Prahl, Luxemburg, Art and Ruth Friex, Green Bay, nieces and nephews. Dorothy was preceded in death by two granddaughters, Tiffany and Courtney DeGrave, one son-in-law, Ken Breitlow, three sisters and one brother-in-law, Harriet and Arnold Malvitz, Pearl Friex, June Prahl, three bothers, Robert Siegmund, Earl Siegmund, Willard Siegmund. Friends may call at St. John Lutheran Church, 700 Heritage Road, Luxemburg, Wi. 54217, 6:00 pm till 8:30 pm , Monday, October 7, 2013. Closing parish prayer service 8:30 pm. Monday. Visitation will continue between 10:30 am to 12:45 pm, Tuesday, October 8, 2013. Funeral 1:00 pm Tuesday at the church with Rev. Carl Brewer officiating.
