Ivan J. Draize Ivan J. Draize, 93, Luxemburg, died unexpectedly, Thursday morning, December 19, 2013 at his residence. He was born April 24, 1920 in the Town of Union to the late Louis J. and Louise (Bodart) Draize. On December 26, 1946, Ivan married Margaret Lampereur at St. Mary of the Snow Church, Fairland. Margaret preceded him in death on May 26, 2004. Ivan was a self employed electrician all of his life and loved to repair small electronics. Ivan and Margaret loved to square dance but it was Ivan who not only "called" the dance but taught the dance. He enjoyed playing the trumpet, and actually played with a band in his earlier years. He was a member of the Peninsula American Belgian Club, making many trips to Europe as well as hosting the European visitors who made the trip here. His enjoyments including playing dominos, travel and visiting with people. Survivors include nieces, nephews, cousins and many friends. Ivan was preceded in death by two sisters, Gladys Mazur, Emily (Francis) Euclide.
