DOROTHY M. STODOLA Dorothy M. Stodola, 94, Luxemburg passed away peacefully Friday, January 10, 2014 with her family at her side. She was born March 25, 1919 in Luxemburg to the late Englebert and Margaret (Kelnhofer) Treml. On October 10, 1944 she married Joseph F. Stodola at St. Mary Church, Luxemburg. He preceded her in death May 25, 1987. Together they operated a farm in Pilsen until their retirement. Dorothy enjoyed visits from the grandchildren, crocheting, playing cards, and word searches. She was a member of St. Therese Parish St. Joseph-St. John Rosary Society and St. Theresa Ct. 1057 of the NCSF. Survivors include two sons, Joseph (special friend Peggy Novak) Stodola, Pembine; Ronald (Nancy) Stodola, Denmark; two daughters, Rita (Ron) Christman, Luxemburg; Rose (Dennis) Mayer, Manitowoc; grandchildren, Kevin (Elena) Stodola, Joseph (special friend Ali) Stodola, Scott (special friend Kelly) Stodola, Tim (Emily) Stodola, Jennifer (special friend Dustin,) Stodola, Nicole (Ron) Vosika, Chris (Mackenzie) Stodola, Andrew (Megan) Stodola, Elizabeth (Nick) Rankin, Matt (fiancee Robin) Stodola, Michelle and Josh Stodola, Brian Christman, Rebecca (Richard) Brohammer, Kim (James) Lindsley, Adam Christman, Jessica and Brenda Mayer, great grandchildren, Joseph, Liam, Henry, Cassie, Ethan, Mason, Logan, Kaden, Brendan, Hannah, Ava, Ben, Alison, Charlotte; three brothers, Edmund Treml, Anton (June) Treml, Robert (June) Treml, two sisters, Martha Karnopp, Margaret Theys; one brother in law and two sisters in law, William and Anna Mae Stodola, LaVerne Stodola. Dorothy was preceded in death by brothers and sisters in law, George (Mary) Treml, Leo (Regina) Treml, Leonard (Beatrice) Treml, Virginia Treml, sisters and brothers in law, Ann (Frank) Stodola, Gertrude (Daniel) Arendt, Harold Karnopp, Louis Theys, brothers in law and sisters in law, Clarence Stodola, Theodore and Marcella Schlies. Friends may call at the McMAHON FUNERAL HOME, LUXEMBURG, 4:00 to 7:00 pm, Monday, January 13, 2014. Closing parish prayer service 7:00 pm Monday. Visitation will continue between 9:30 and 10:15 am Tuesday, January 14, 2014 at St. Therese Parish, St. Joseph-St. John Site, Pilsen. Funeral 10:30 am Tuesday at the church with Rev. Dennis Drury officiating and Deacon Bob Pribek assisting.
