E. Rose Seidl Elizabeth Rose Seidl (Mrs. Thomas U. Seidl), 74 Luxemburg, passed away peacefully at her home surrounded by her family on Monday evening, February 3, 2014, following a courageous eleven year battle with breast cancer. She was born in Dyckesville to the late John F. and Rose M. (Bader) Deprey on July 23, 1939. On May 28, 1960 Rose was united in marriage to Thomas Seidl at St. Louis Church, Dyckesville. She was a devoted wife and mother to three children. She was a Faith filled and compassionate person who enjoyed spending time with her family. Rose was always sure that others came first and had the rare gift to make sure everyone felt welcome and cared about. Rose's character has been a great example to her family. She especially enjoyed preparing wonderful meals for family gatherings. Teaching her grandchildren how to cook and bake pies was something she and the children enjoyed and they will remember forever. Rose and her family enjoyed time together relaxing and playing games. She was a member of St. Mary Parish, Luxemburg, WI and was a member of the Christian Mother Society. Rose also enjoyed traveling. She was proud of her Belgian heritage and enjoyed spending time with the Belgian Club. She and Tom also had a lot of fun playing cards and other games with their group of fun loving friends. Rose enjoyed time with Tom working on their landscaping and spending time in their yard. Survivors include her husband of 53 years, Tom and their children, Brian & Lynn Seidl, Bruce & Patti Seidl, Kay & Carl Shefchik, all of Luxemburg, eight grandchildren, Sarah (Brent) Tekulve, Brent (Jessica) Seidl, Tyler Seidl (friend Karissa Kaiser), Zachary Seidl (friend Danielle DePeau), Kyle Seidl, Jake, Lauren and Luke Shefchik, one brother and three sisters in law, John (Donna) Deprey, Green Bay; Valerie DuBois, Champion; Etta Deprey, Green Bay; one sister and one brother in law, Madelene Derenne, Luxemburg; Roy Johnson, Green Bay; two sisters in law, Linda Seidl, Luxemburg; Carol Lee Masino, Milwaukee; many nieces and nephews. Rose was preceded in death by, one sister Emerine Johnson, two brothers, Melvin Deprey and Jim Deprey, two brothers in law, Sonny Derenne, Larry Seidl, niece Linda Vandenhouten, her father in law and mother in law, Leo and Ann Seidl. Friends may call at St. Mary Church, Luxemburg, 3:00 to 7:00 pm, Friday, February 07, 2014. Closing parish prayer service at 7:00 pm. on Friday. Visitation will continue at St. Mary Church in Luxemburg on Saturday morning, February 8, 2014 between 8:30 am and 10:00 am. Funeral 10:15 am Saturday at the church with Rev.
