                                                                     Jadin, Darrell J. Darrell Joseph Jadin, 88 of Thiry Daems passed away on Holy Saturday morning, April 19, 2014, after a long courageous battle with cancer at the home he was born in and shared with his loving wife, Arlene. He was born on September 27, 1925, in Thiry Daems to the late ­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­John L. and Bessie E. (Nelis) Jadin. He grew up working and living on the family farm. He then married the love of his life, Arlene (De Champs) Jadin, at St. Joseph Church, Champion on October 15, 1949, together they shared 64 beautiful years. To know Darrell was to love him. He was a very kind, warm and caring man. He was always making light-hearted jokes, always willing to lend a helping hand and never missed a chance to sneak an extra dessert. Darrell was a Trustee for St. Odile Catholic Church, Thiry Daems and helped out around the church whenever and wherever he could before it closed. Darrell then joined St. Louis Parish where he served as an Usher for many years. He was past Secretary of the Catholic Order of Foresters in Luxemburg. He was a past President of the Farm Bureau of Kewaunee County. Darrell enjoyed going dancing with Arlene and playing cards on Sunday evenings with their friends! Survivors include his wife, Arlene and their children, Barbara (Jim) Cornette, Beverly (Dennis) Dalebroux, all of Luxemburg; Betsy Jadin, New Franken; Barry (Jeanne) Jadin, Appleton, David (Julie) Dalebroux, Dan (Jeanne) Trumble, all of Luxemburg; eight grandchildren, one step-grandson, two great-grandchildren, four step-great grandchildren, one sister, Beatrice DePeau, Luxemburg, three brothers-in-law and one sister-in-law, Edwin DeChamps, Merle and Sylvia DeChamps, Larry (special friend Barb) DeChamps, many nieces, nephews and friends. Darrell was preceded in death by, one infant son, two daughters, Becky Dalebroux and Bonnie Jadin, one brother-in-law, Ervin DePeau, one sister-in-law, Angie DeChamps, his father-in-law and his mother-in-law, Willard and Josephine DeChamps. Friends may call at St. LouisChurch, Dyckesville, 4:00 to 7:00 pmTuesday, April 22, 2014. Closing parish prayer service 7:00 pm Tuesday with Pat Ratajczak, Pastoral Leader. Visitation will continue between 9:30 and 10:45 am on Wednesday, April 23, 2014 at St. LouisChurch, Dyckesville. Funeral 11:00 am Wednesday at the church with Rev. John VanDeuren, celebrating and Rev. Richard Mauthe, concelebrating. Burial in St. Odile Cemetery, Thiry Daems.
