June M. Husnik June M. Husnik, 84 of Luxemburg passed away at her home with her family at her side, Friday, May 23, 2014. She was born May 08, 1930 in Kewaunee to the late Albert and Agnes (Lenz) Kickbusch. June was an employee of the Hanson Glove Co. in Kewaunee and Mirro Co. in Two Rivers until she was married. On February 02, 1952 she married Melvin J. Husnik in Stangelville. Together they farmed in the township of Montpelier until retirement. He preceded her in death on October 25, 1999. Survivors include her children, Cathy Shefchik, Kewaunee; Dale Husnik, Luxemburg; Janelle (Andy) Strnad, Kewaunee; eight grandchildren, Tammy Husnik (fiancé Jed Pansier), Angela (Kory) Paplham, Travis Husnik, Jessica (Bryan) Bertsche, Kerri (Matt) Schlies, Katie Husnik (special friend Chris Kuehl), Justina Strnad and Brennon Strnad; 13 great-grandchildren; one brother, Karl Kickbusch, Kewaunee; one sister-in-law, Esther Christoff, Green Bay; nieces and nephews. June was preceded in death by one son, Gerald L. Husnik, one brother and one sister-in-law, Myron Kickbusch, Emogene Kickbusch; one sister and one brother-in-law, LaVerne (Elgie) Vandenhouten, three brothers-in-law and two sisters-in-law, James Husnik, Sylvia (Joseph) Vickman, Lillian (Mike) Seidl.
