Patrick J. Lipsky Patrick J. Lipsky, 64, Dyckesville, peacefully passed away on Tuesday, June 24, 2014, with his family by his side after a courageous battle against Progressive Supranuclear Palsy (PSP). He was born in Kewaunee on August 24, 1949 to the late Julius W. and Joan M. (Stezinski) Lipsky. After graduating from Sturgeon Bay High School, Pat joined the United States Army. On October 12, 1974 he married Linda Hermans. Together they raised two children, Jason and Amber. Pat was employed with WG&R Furniture as a salesman before pursuing his dream of owning a bar. Pat and Linda established Lipsky's Bar in 1981. In 1988, they built the motel and re-named their business, Lipsky's On The Bay. It was here, where lifelong friendships were made. They continued to grow with the addition of a restaurant and pavilion, located across the street where they featured their Authentic Jamaican Cookout, which was inspired by their many trips to Jamaica. In 2001, they sold Lipsky's On The Bay and retired. He was a proud veteran who actively served during the Vietnam War. He was a member of the Amvets of Sturgeon Bay, the American Legion Ralph Kline Post 262 in Luxemburg and the Vietnam Veterans Chapter 224, Green Bay. Survivors include his wife of 39 years, Linda; one son, Jason Lipsky, Oshkosh; one daughter, Amber (Edward) Bellin, Bellevue; his cherished grandson, Jackson Bellin; two sisters, Jeanne Kollross (Michael Malvitz), Green Bay; Jill Pritzkau (Bob Peters), Fl; brothers in law and sisters in law, Armella Hoffmann, New Berlin; Arlene (Larry) Pennings,, Denmark; Elaine (Richard) Pennings, New Franken; Darrel (Marlene) Hermans, Chippewa Falls; many nieces and nephews, relatives and friends. Pat was preceded in death by one infant son, Gerard; his parents, Julius and Joan Lipsky, his father in law and mother in law, Joseph and Rose Hermans; one brother, Larry Lipsky; one brother in law, Daniel Hoffmann. Visitation will be held at St. Louis Catholic Church, N8726 County Line Road, Dyckesville, Saturday, June 28, 2014 between 9:00 am and 11:45 am. Funeral 12:00 noon, at the church with Rev. John VanDeuren officiating. Full Military rites following the funeral with the American Legion Ralph Kline Post 262, Luxemburg.
