Mr. Ervine E. DeGrave Mr. Ervine E. DeGrave, 93, Luxemburg died late Saturday evening, July 12, 2014. He was born August 5, 1920 to the late John B. and Leona (Noel) DeGrave in Duvall. He was raised on this family farm milking cows and working land with a team of horses. On September 24, 1955 Ervine married Dorothy M Siegmund at St. John Lutheran Church, Luxemburg. She preceded him in death October 4, 2013. Ervine was employed with Packerland Packing Co. in Green Bay until his retirement in 1982. His enjoyments included gardening and spending time at his hobby farm, especially raising potatoes in Duvall. He will be missed for his daily walk to the Post Office and weekly visits to the local business in the Village. Survivors include his five children, Sandy (Tom) Stein, Denmark; Dan (Jennifer) DeGrave, Casco; Mary Breitlow (friend Matt Olmeda), Kewaunee; Laurie (Jerry) DeKeyser, Algoma; Jeremy (Tina) DeGrave, Luxemburg; 13 grandchildren, Jon, Beckie, Ben and Betsy Stein, Adam (Jamie) DeGrave, Joshua (Roxann) DeGrave, Sadie (Sam) Ehlers, Aaron (Nicole) Breitlow, Carmon Breitlow, Gretchen (Gary) Garside, Jordan DeKeyser, Taylor and Jacob DeGrave, seven great-grandchildren, three brothers-in-law and three sisters-in-law, Don and LaVerne Siegmund, Delores Siegmund, all of Green Bay; Gordon Prahl, Luxemburg; Art and Ruth Friex, Green Bay; nieces and nephews. Ervine was preceded in death by two granddaughters, Tiffany and Courtney DeGrave, one son-in-law, Ken Breitlow, one sister Beatrice Stoeger, four brothers-in-law and two sisters-in-law, Harriet and Arnold Malvitz, Pearl Friex, June Prahl, Robert Siegmund, Earl Siegmund and Willard Siegmund. Friends may call at the McMAHON FUNERAL HOME, LUXEMBURG, 3:30 to 7:00 pm Tuesday, July 15, 2014. Closing parish prayer service 7:00 pm Tuesday. Visitation will continue between 10:00 and 10:45 am Wednesday, July 16, 2014 at St. John Lutheran Church, Luxemburg. Funeral 11:00 am Wednesday at the church with Rev. Carl Brewer officiating.
