Krohn, Virginia E. Virginia E. Krohn, 92, Kewaunee, died peacefully at her home on Saturday night, July 26, 2014. She was born April 20, 1922, in the Town of Montpelier, to the late Albert and Selma (Kudick) Ollmann. On October 29, 1944, Virginia married Leo A. Krohn at Church of the Incarnation English Evangelical Lutheran in Milwaukee. Together they owned and operated Krohn Dairy Products, Luxemburg. He preceded her in death April 17, 1990. Virginia was a life-long member of St. Paul Lutheran Church in the Town of Montpelier, where she was a member of the Altar Guild for many years and the Lutheran Layman’s League. She enjoyed playing cards in many different card clubs, quilting, and baking until she was unable to do these things due to Macular Degeneration. She maintained a positive outlook on life even through her visual impairment. She also enjoyed her many flowers and gardening, as well as, spending time with her grandchildren and great-children. Virginia is survived by three daughters and sons-in-law: Jean (Arlie) Doell, Kewaunee; Sandra (Allen) Fager, Three Lakes; Susan (James) Kratz, Kewaunee; one son and two daughters-in-law: Roger (Candace) Krohn, Luxemburg; and Donna Thompson-Krohn, Kewaunee; nine grandchildren: Patrick (fiancée Angie FIscher) Doell, Tim (special friend Mandy Shimon) Doell, Joshua (Chelsey) Fager, Jessica (special friend, Cole Rasmussen) Fager, Ashley (Tom) Daffinson, Zachary (Marissa) Krohn, Alyssa Kratz, Stephanie (Andrew) Schneider, and Christopher (Katie) Krohn, and three step-grandchildren: Kari (Jeremy) Heim, Tami (Ty) Prucha, and Tyler Thompson, seven great-grandchildren: Madelynne and Adeyle Schneider, Cali and Emri Krohn, Lily and Isla Daffinson, Colton Krohn, Shane O’Connor, and four step-great-grandchildren Kiley and Ben Heim, Ayla and Zander Prucha, one sister, Myra Sisel of Algoma and many special nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her son, Carl and granddaughter Tiffany Krohn, three sisters and one brother, infant sister, Ruth, infant brother, Merlin, Marcella (Gerhardt) Pilgrim; Verna (Donald) Sell, and Art Sisel,. Friends may call at McMAHON FUNERAL HOME, LUXEMBURG, 3:00 – 8:00 p.m., Tuesday, July 29, 2014. Parish prayer service 7:00 PM Tuesday. Visitation will continue between 9:30 a.m. and 10:45 a.m. Wednesday, July 30, 2014, at St. Paul Lutheran Church, Town of Montpelier. Funeral 11:00 a.m. Wednesday with the Rev. Dr. Daniel Olson officiating.
