Herbert A. Duescher Herbert A. Duescher, 85, Luxemburg, died early Thursday evening, October 2, 2014 at Kewaunee Care Center, Kewaunee. He was born August 07, 1929 in Kewaunee County to the late Arthur and Lydia (Hardtke) Duescher. On April 19, 1952 he married Bernice N. DeJardin at St. Joseph Church, Champion. She preceded him in death on August 10, 2006. His enjoyments included farming, aviation, directing the Herb Duescher Orchestra and spending time with his children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Survivors include his five children, Janet (Donald) Sarka, Algoma; Barbara (David) Dufek, Green Bay; David (Joyce) Duescher, Green Bay; Linda (Randy) Tupa, Luxemburg; Jim (Emily) Duescher, Freedom; 12 grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren, six brothers in law and nine sisters in law, nieces, nephews and friends. Herbert was preceded in death by, three brothers in law and one sister in law, his father in law and mother in law. Friends may call at St. Bernard Church, 2040 Hillside Lane, Green Bay, between 9:30 and 11:45 am, Monday, October 6, 2014. Funeral NOON on Monday at the church with Rev. Mark Vander Steeg officiating. Burial in Pine Hill Cemetery, Spruce.
