Eunice I. Romuald Eunice I. Romuald, 99, Champion, passed away peacefully Wednesday, November 26, 2014, with her daughter at her side. She was born April 20, 1915 in Tonet to the late Joseph and Josephine (Collins) Jadin. On February 6, 1932 she married George A. Romuald at St. Martin Church in Tonet. Together they ran Romuald's Bar in Champion for 25 years, retiring in 1975. George preceded her in death November 30, 1988. Eunice was well known for her delicious chili, hamburgers, chicken booyah and Friday fish fry's. Survivors include one daughter, Mae (Mark) Pinchart, Casco; nine grandchildren, Jule DeGrave, Judy (Jim) Suchon, Ron DeGrave (friend Diana), Sue DeGrave (friend Jim), Dale (Kaori) Pinchart, Julie (Mark) Welter, Dan (Diane) Pinchart, Jacque (Jason) Wiese, Jody (Greg) Veeser; 24 great-grandchildren; ten great-great-grandchildren; one brother in law, Julian Romuald (friend Bertha), New Franken; nieces and nephews. Eunice was preceded in death by one daughter, Marie (Wilfred) DeGrave, one grandson, Gary DeGrave, one granddaughter, Karla DeGrave, one great-granddaughter, Chelsie DeGrave; three sisters, Phoebe (Henry) DuBois, Mary (Gerald) Aurie, Evelyn Loberger, three brothers, Charles (Louise) Jadin, Albert (Libby) Jadin, Orville (Alice) Jadin, brothers in law and sisters in law, Mary Romuald, Dora (Elmer) Zellner, Katherine (Clem) Vincent, Mayme (Richard) Renier, Alex (Eva) Romuald, Joan Romuald. Friends may call at McMAHON FUNERAL HOME, LUXEMBURG, 4:00 pm to 7:00 pm, Monday, December 1, 2014. Parish prayer service 7:00 pm with Deacon Bob Miller. Visitation will continue between 9:00 am to 10:15 am, Tuesday, December 2, 2014 at St. Joseph Church, Champion. Funeral 10:30 am, Tuesday at the church with Rev. Andrew Kurz officiating. A special Thank You to Sharon and Wayne DePeau and Staff of Fred and Mamies Home, for the loving care given to Cookie Grandma over the past seven years and Unity Hospice this past week.
