Emeline L. Gigot Emeline L. Gigot, 96, Luxemburg, formerly of Lincoln, died peacefully Wednesday afternoon, November 26, 2014 in Green Bay. She was born March 13, 1918 to the late, Joseph and Emma (Vlach) Havel in the Town of Lincoln. Emeline married Elmer J. Gigot on September 17, 1934 at St. Peter Church, Lincoln. He preceded her in death on April 15, 1984. Elmer and Emeline enjoyed travel to Europe. Following his death, she traveled on bus tours mainly in the U.S. She also enjoyed visiting at the Village Kitchen, playing cards, dancing, baking and spending time with her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren whom which she was very proud of. Survivors include her three children and their spouses, Nancy (Eli) Fenendael, Algoma; Karen VanBoxel, Green Bay; Randy (Mary Jo) Gigot, New Franken; one daughter in law, Barb Gigot, Algoma, 15 grandchildren, Milton's children, Peggy (Kurt), Terry (Joel), John and step daughter, Jana; Nancy's children, Barry (Linda), Lori (Kevin), Susan (Dave), Cheryl (Jon), Lonnie (Sue) and Shane (Jenny); Karen's children, Lisa (Clint), Jeff (Amy) and Tammy; Randy's children, Matthew and Michael (Nicole); 25 great-grandchildren, Lauren, Caleb, Lia, Gina, Eric, Quin, Lance, Mariah, Tyler, Jon, Bailey, Nick, Kimberly, Taylor, Jacob, Sam, Faith, Kurtis, Ryle, Jordon, Kaylee, Zach, Max, Hannah and Will, two sisters in law, Karen Havel, AZ and Jeanne Gigot, Casco, many nieces and nephews. Besides her husband Elmer, Emeline was preceded in death by one son, Milton (Shirley) Gigot, one son in law, Bernie VanBoxel, three brothers, Arthur (Louise) Havel, Joseph (Rita) Havel, William (Doris) Havel; five sisters, Bea (Edward) Qualman, Frances (Richard) Simon, Mary (Clarence) Krohn, Agnes (Julius) Quistorf, Olga (George) Seiler; five brothers in law and five sisters in law, Mabel (Emil) Vandervest, Evelyn (Harry) Fabry, Agnes Gigot, John (Mary Jane) Gigot, Alvin (Bernice) Gigot, Lewellyn Gigot and her special friend, Wally Duquaine. Friends may call at the McMAHON FUNERAL HOME, LUXEMBURG, 1:00 pm to 4:30 pm, Sunday, November 30, 2014. Parish prayer service 4:00 pm on Sunday. Visitation will continue between 9:45 and 10:45 am, Monday, December 1, 2014 at St. Peter Church, Lincoln. Funeral 11:00 am, Monday at the church with Rev. Milton Suess and Deacon Paul Zenefski officiating.
