Blanche M. Jeanquart Blanche M. Jeanquart, 90 of Luxemburg, passed away peacefully at Helping Hearts CBRF (formally Fred and Mamie's Home) in Luxemburg on Saturday afternoon, January 03, 2015. She was born in the town of Union in Door County, WI to the late Adam and Irene (Baudhuin) Jadin on November 23, 1924. On November 25, 1941, Blanche married George A. Jeanquart at St. Mary of the Snow Catholic Church in Namur, WI. He preceded her in death on January 30, 1996. Blanche was a dairy farmer working side by side with her husband until their retirement in 1985. She loved music; as a teenager she was proud to sing and play her guitar on the radio with her sister Erma. Blanche enjoyed tending to her large lawn and garden throughout her life. She had a flair for fashion and interior decorating. Never was there an opportunity passed to go shopping or out to eat with her family or friends. She was a wonderful and caring person especially to those who were ill. She was a devote Catholic making many trips to the Chapel of Good Help. In their younger years George and Blanche were members of the Kool City Square dance club and enjoyed riding snowmobile. They were members of the Peninsula Belgian American Club which they hosted many visiting Belgians at their home throughout the years. They loved to travel and traveled throughout the United States, Canada and Europe. Survivors include her two sons, J. Merle (Colleen) Jeanquart; Philip (Diane) Jeanquart, all of Green Bay; her daughter, Sonia (John) Malcore, Luxemburg; seven grandchildren, Susan Reilly, Jill Everard, Shawn (David) Wacholz, Sarah Malcore, Dr. Sylvie (Dr. Grant Heller) Malcore, Anthony Malcore, Daniel Malcore; seven great-grandchildren, Colin and Pierce Reilly, Adam and Royce Everard, Charles and Sophie Wacholz and Selena Blanche Heller; three sisters and three brothers-in-law, Erma (Floyd) Sisel, Vida Jacobs, Mildred (Bernard) Granius, Roland Englebert,; three sisters-in-law and one brother-in-law, Madeline Jeanquart, Emily Dhuey, Doris (Norbert) Kinnard; many nieces and nephews. Blanche was preceded in death by an infant grandson, Bennett Malcore; one sister, Carole Englebert; five brothers-in-law and two sisters-in-law, Richard Jacobs, Celine and John Cumber, Roy Jeanquart, Marie and James Jadin and Harris Dhuey. Friends may call between 9:00 and 10:45 am on Friday, January 9, 2015 at St. Francis-St. Mary Church, Brussels. Funeral 11:00 am Friday at the church with Rev. Tony Birdsall and Deacon Paul Zenefski officiating. Entombment in The Shrine of the Good Shepherd Mausoleum, Green Bay.
