Eva Jacobs Eva Jacobs, 95 of New Franken died Sunday morning, January 11, 2015 at Helping Hearts CBRF formerly Fred and Mamie's Home in Luxemburg. She was born in New Franken to the late Ann Bennett on November 02, 1919. On June 14, 1947 she married Orville J. Jacobs at St. Joseph Church in Champion. He preceded her in death April 30, 1976. Her enjoyments included farming, cutting her lawn, gardening, driving tractors, watching soap opera's, eating ice-cream and spending time with her children and all grandchildren. Survivors include her three children, Helen (Gary) Conard, Bert (Terri) Jacobs, Theresa (Dan) Deterville, all of New Franken; three grandchildren, Dave (fiance' Stacy Griese) Conard, Heather (special friend Joe Metzner) Deterville, Amanda (Peter) Haase; two great-grandchildren, Clementine and Eleanor Haase; three brothers in law and three sisters in law, Raymond (Rosemary) Jacobs, Luxemburg; Geraldine (Melvin) Nooyen, Pulaski; Norbert Cravillion Green Bay; and Dianne Jacobs, New Franken; nieces and nephews. Eva was preceded in death by her husband and six brothers in law and six sisters in law, Clarence Jacobs, LaVerne (Cyril) Ronk, Dorothy (Alvin) Falish, Loretta (Edward) Cashman, Rita (Cletus) Speerschneider, Shirley (Floyd) Strebel, Ethel Cravillion. Friends may call at McMAHON FUNERAL HOME, LUXEMBURG, 4:00 to 8:00 pm on Wednesday, January 14, 2015. Parish prayer service 7:00 pm on Wednesday with Deacon Bob Miller. Visitation will continue on Thursday, January 15, 2015 between 9:00 and 10:15 am at St. Joseph Church, Champion. Funeral 10:30 am at the church with Rev. Andrew Kurz officiating. Burial in St. Joseph Cemetery, Champion. www.mcmahonfh.com In lieu of flowers a memorial fund will be established in Eva's memory.
