Ruby L. Flavion Ruby L. Flavion, 92, New Franken, formerly of the town of Red River, died early Thursday morning, January 29, 2015 at St. Vincent Hospital, Green Bay. She was born March 17, 1922 in the town of Red River to the late Henry and Lillian (Wery) Collins. On June 21, 1941 she married Gerald F. Flavion at Grace Presbyterian Church, Green Bay. He preceded her in death on August 27, 1998. Ruby ran the family farm with her husband while working at Penning's Nursing Home and later at Algoma Hardwoods until she retired. Her enjoyments included crocheting, gardening, bingo and spending time with her family. She was a gracious and loving mother to her children, survivors include five children, Anna Mae (Dan) Dahms, Forestville; Gaylord "Fluff" Flavion, Luxemburg; Diane (Dennis) Junion, Casco; Joan (Thomas) Salentine, Casco; Colleen (Dave) Tymus, Greenleaf; 15 grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren, three sisters in law, Karen Collins, DePere; Gertrude Schmidt and Betty Flavion both of Algoma, nieces and nephews. Ruby was preceded in death by, one son Russell Flavion, three brothers, Marvin Collins, Milton (Gloria) Collins, Walter Collins, three sisters, Eunice (Al) Wilquet, Irene (Mark) Hannon, Dolores Collins, several brothers in law and sisters in law preceded as well. Friends may call at Harvest Community Church, Luxemburg, 9:00 am to 11:00 am on Saturday, January 31, 2015. Funeral 11:15 am Saturday at the church with Pastor Kevin Leach officiating.
