Richard F. Massart It is with deep and heavy sadness that we announce the passing of Richard F. Massart Jr. 62 of Duvall, following a 12 year courageous fight with cancer. Richard passed away shortly after midnight on February 6, 2015 with his entire family at home with him. He served in the United States Army Reserves from 1971 to 1977. On June 12, 1971 he married his childhood sweetheart, Nancy A. Kipp in Duvall. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, son and brother. His enjoyments included fishing, hunting, camping, putting puzzles together, gardening, reading the Bible, working in his woods and tending to his chickens. Richard will be dearly missed by his wife of 43 years, Nancy and their children, Julie (Aaron) Brenneke, Amy (Rob) Polster, all of Luxemburg; Jodi (Chip) Koppein, AZ; seven grandchildren, Raven, Devon, Logan, Riley, Lexi, Abigail and Parker; his mother, Ellen A. (Randall) Boulanger, Luxemburg; one brother, Dale (Teresa) Massart, Luxemburg; his mother-in-law, Lois M. Kipp, Casco, a large extended family of brothers-in-law and sisters -in- law, Lynn (Rick) Kinnard, Lincoln; Barbara (Joe) Jeanquart, Duvall; Wally (Anne) Kipp, MI; Bobby (Angela) Kipp, West Bend; Brian (Linda) Kipp, Luxemburg; Brenda (John) Zeitler, Algoma; Tony (Kim) Kipp, Luxemburg; Mary (Gary) Breitlow, Connie (Pete) Junio, all of Algoma; cousins, nieces and nephews. Richard was preceded in death by his father Richard Massart Sr, his great uncle and great aunt, Emil and Mayme Massart and their daughter, Doris Massart, his father-in-law, Wallace C. Kipp, one sister-in-law, Brenda Kipp and one nephew, Micah Kipp. Friends may call between 1:00 and 5:00 pm, Sunday, February 8, 2015 at the McMAHON FUNERAL HOME, LUXEMBURG. Closing parish prayer service 5:00 pm. Sunday, with Sue Johnson, Pastoral Minister. Visitation will continue between 9:30 and 10:45 am, Monday, February 9, 2015 at St. Francis-St. Mary Church, Brussels. Funeral 11:00 am, Monday at the church with Rev. Frank Sherry and Deacon Paul Zenefski officiating.
