Robert F. Post Robert F. Post, 79 of West Kewaunee, died late Tuesday evening, February 10, 2015 at his home surrounded by his family. He was born on September 19, 1935 in West Kewaunee to the late Frederick A. and Eleonora A. (Dahlke) Post. On August 18, 1962 he married Rita A. Duescher at St. Paul Lutheran Church, Montpelier. Robert was a lifelong member of St. Paul Lutheran Church in Montpelier holding several offices and participating in the church choir over time. Following high school he worked on the home farm while hauling milk for Krohns Dairy and helping his brother in law with a mail route, later taking over the family farm in West Kewaunee. His enjoyments included fishing, listening to blue grass music, watching the Green Bay Packers and the Chicago Cubs, singing or whistling and making his family laugh with his stories. Survivors include his wife of 52 years, Rita, and their children, Brenda and Ronald Kester and their children, Taylor, Olivia, Lauren, Carson and Cooper, Fremont; Beth (friend Robert Kinstetter) Lozinski and her children, Alexandra and Nicholas, West Kewaunee; Kurt and Pattie Post and children, Adrienne, Owen and Eyan, West Kewaunee; Carrie and Steve Bero, and their children, Corinna and Jayden, Green Bay; Michelle and Joseph Lopera and their children, Zoey and Gabrielle, Fredonia; one great granddaughter, Meila. Six sisters, Jeanette Zeitler, Algoma; Bernice Machut, Green Bay; Carol (James) Nemecek, Kewaunee; Arlene Gruetzmacher, Luxemburg; Shirley (Sheldon) Prodell, Kewaunee; Ellen Post, Green Bay; two brothers, Roy (Donna) Post, Maribel; Roger (Carol) Post, Luxemburg; three brothers in law and three sisters in law, Lila and Russell Rodrian, Luxemburg; Jean Duescher, Denmark; Randy and Mary Jo Duescher, Luxemburg; Jeff Duescher, Chippewa Falls; one aunt, Dorothy Dahlke, DePere, many nieces and nephews further survive. Robert was preceded in death by one brother, Norman Post, four brothers in law, Harold Zeitler, Wallace Machut, Wayne Gruetzmacher and Ray Duescher, his father in law and his mother in law, Ewald and Ruth Duescher. Visitation will continue between 10:00 and 10:45 am Saturday, February 14, 2015 at St. Paul Lutheran Church, Montpelier. Funeral 11:00 am at the church with Rev. Dr. Daniel Olson officiating.
