Lucy M. Rueckl Lucy M. Rueckl was received into the arms of her heavenly Father on February 17, 2015. She was born on October 20, 1922 to the late Frank J. and Philomine M. (Vaness) Hermans. She was united in marriage at St. Martin Church in Tonet on October 12, 1943 to Norbert E. Rueckl, who preceded her in death on August 6, 2001. Lucy was a Luxemburg resident all her life as well as a lifelong member of St. Mary Catholic Church and a member of the Christian Mother Society at St. Mary Church. She was a devoted believer in our Father God. Lucy and her husband, Norbert owned and operated Rueckl Construction and Sunset Manufactured Home Park. She loved gardening and visiting with family and friends, especially her grandchildren and great grandchildren. She is survived by her children, Edward (Jean) Rueckl of Green Bay, Glen (Karen) Rueckl and Gerri (Dale) Morgan all of Luxemburg; grandchildren Rychelle (Rick) Czaplewski, Erin (Matt) Granstrom, Jason (Terry) Rueckl, Ryan (Shari) Rueckl, Shane (Michelle) Rueckl, Dana (Rachel) Bongle and Cory (Amy) Bongle; great-grandchildren Lance Czaplewski, Mikael and Arabella Granstrom, Logan and Kendra Rueckl, Sawyer and Jayden Rueckl, Jackson and Audrey Bongle, and Mayghan Bongle; step grandchildren Dean (Vicki) Morgan, Doug (Jodi) Morgan and Dave Morgan; step great-grandchildren Emma and Kiley Morgan; sisters, Marie (Richard) Charles, Veronica (Ted) Ploof all of Luxemburg; sisters-in-law, Ethel Hermans, New Franken; Janet Hermans, Eaton; and Hyacinth VanLaanen, Green Bay. Proceeding her in death were her parents, Frank and Philomine; husband, Norbert; one infant daughter, Mary; brothers Linus, Orville and Hubert Hermans; brothers-in-law Cyrus VanLaanen, Orville VanLaanen, and LeRoy Rueckl; sisters-in-law Beatrice Hermans, Marie VanLaanen, and Shirley Rueckl; and father-in-law and mother-in-law Edward and Anna Rueckl. Friends may call at St. Mary Catholic Church in Luxemburg, Friday, February 20th from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Prayer service at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Visitation continues at St. Mary Church in Luxemburg on Saturday morning, February 21st from 9:30 a.m. to 10:45a.m. A mass of Christian burial will follow at 11:00 a.m. Saturday at church with the Rev. Milton Suess officiating. Burial in church cemetery.
