Betty J. LaLuzerne Betty J. LaLuzerne, (Mrs. Edwin J. LaLuzerne), 82 of Luxemburg, lost her courageous battle with cancer on Friday morning, March 27, 2015. She was born on April 9, 1932 to the late Hubert and Evelyn (Delwiche) DeGuelle. On September 20, 1949 she married Edwin J. LaLuzerne at St. Mary Church, Namur. He preceded her in death March 22, 2014. Together they farmed the LaLuzerne Family Farm, in the Duvall area until 1994. Betty was a caregiver for her mother, her father and her husband for many years. A woman of tender heart, her actions dictated her love of family. Her enjoyments included dancing, bus trips, playing cards, polka music, going out to eat, and visiting with friends and family. Survivors include her four children, Dean LaLuzerne (Linda LaLuzerne), Luxemburg; Denise (Tom) LaViolette, Brussels; Dale (Cindy) LaLuzerne, Green Bay; Darren (Sue) LaLuzerne, Howard; 12 grandchildren, Jeremy (Tanya) LaLuzerne, Jennifer (Randy) Rosin, Cody LaLuzerne, Dawn (Mike) Wessel, Tammy Ahlswede, Amy (Rich) Wetmiller, Luci (friend Ben) LaLuzerne, Daniel LaLuzerne, Alex LaLuzerne, Alison LaLuzerne, Erin LaLuzerne, Kyle LaLuzerne; 12 great grandchildren, Courtney Weis, Justin, Jade, Jillian LaLuzerne, Peyton, Kennedy, Kelsey, Briley and Brody Rosin, Tommy Wessel, Alexis and Jonathan Ahlswede; two brothers in law and one sister in law, Erwin (Lorraine) LaLuzerne, Algoma, John Delfosse, Lincoln; many nieces and nephews. Betty was preceded in death by one great grandson, Bradyn Rosin, her father in law and mother in law, Victor and Adele (Wery) LaLuzerne, two brothers in law and two sisters in law, Joe LaLuzerne, Lawrence LaLuzerne, Emma Jandrin, Judy Delfosse. Friends may call at the McMAHON FUNERAL HOME, LUXEMBURG, 1:00 pm to 5:00 pm Sunday, March 29, 2015. Closing parish prayer service 5:00 pm on Sunday. Visitation will continue between 10:00 am and 10:45 am, Monday, March 30, 2015 at St. Peter Church, Lincoln. Funeral 11:00 am Monday at the church with Rev.
