Roy J. Ropson Roy J. Ropson, 84 of Dyckesville, died peacefully Friday evening, May 22, 2015. He was born in Green Bay in 1931 to the late Eli J. and Mary T.(DeBauche) Ropson. On October 07, 1950 Roy married Virginia M. Boucher at St. Mary of The Angels Church, Green Bay. He was employed with TecTron Tube in Green Bay formerly Green Bay Steel Tube, retiring in 1993. His enjoyments included fishing, playing cards, traveling especially to Branson, the vegetable garden and breakfast at the Village Kitchen. Survivors include his wife of 64 years, Virginia and their three children, Dean Ropson, Becky Ropson, both of Dyckesville; Cheryl and Richard "Archie" Vander Kinter, Denmark; one brother and two sisters in law, Ira (Mary) Ropson, Dyckesville; Donna Ropson-Morgan, Ripon; two sisters and one brother in law, Marilyn (William) Watson, MT.; Theresa Le Roy, Sturgeon Bay; special nephew, Bob (Lynn) Ropson, Dyckesville, many other nieces, nephews and friends. Roy was preceded in death by, one brother and one sister in law, Harold (Rita) Ropson, one brother in law, Donald Le Roy, his father in law and mother in law, Elmer and Diana Boucher. Friends may call at the McMAHON FUNERAL HOME, LUXEMBURG, 4:00 to 6:30 pm, Tuesday, May 26, 2015. Closing parish prayer service, 6:30 pm with Pat Ratajczak, Pastoral Leader. Visitation will continue between 9:30 and 10:45 am on Wednesday, May 27, 2015 at St. Louis Church, Dyckesville. Funeral 11:00 am, Wednesday at the church with Rev. John Van Deuren officiating.
