Robert J. Jisa Robert J. Jisa, 67 of Pilsen passed away peacefully at home early Friday morning, June 05, 2015, with his family gathered by his side after a courageous battle with cancer. Bob was born at home in Kewaunee on April 27, 1948 to the George J. and Irene F. (Koudelka) Jisa. Bob graduated from Kewaunee High School in 1966. He went on to school at Manitowoc Tech for a machinist. In 1967, Bob took over the dairy farm of his grandparents Joseph and Mary Jisa. While running the farm Bob also hauled milk for Ellisville Dairy Co-op. In 1967, Bob joined the Kewaunee County Army Reserves and fulfilled his 6 year obligation during the Vietnam War. Bob married Nancy Jerovetz at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Pilsen on October 18, 1969 and over the next ten years were blessed with four wonderful daughters. Bob started work for Reinke Equipment Co. doing electrical work, refrigeration and installing pipelines on dairy farms. Bob and his wife started Jisa's Dairy Equipment in fall of 1974 in Pilsen, selling and installing Mueller bulk tanks, DeLaval dairy equipment, Berg & Clay equipment with a workforce of six employees. In 1979, Bob discontinued the dairy farm operation. After being in business for 12 years, Bob sold the equipment business and went to work for Lakeside Harvestore out of New Holstein. While working for Lakeside, Bob helped start the pole barn construction division. Bob took another career move in 2010 and went to work for Valley Building Systems out of Little Chute, selling and designing systems, pole sheds and barns. In 2011 he joined the American Legion Carlton Post, 538 in Kewaunee. He loved to spend time with his girls and his wife at his side and fishing with his grandchildren. We will all miss his signature laugh. Survivors include his wife of 45 years, Nancy and their four daughters, Stacy (Randy) Paplham, Denmark; Renee (Aaron) Krier, Oconomowoc; Jacqueline (Brian) Piontek, Green Bay; Susan (Steve) Zellner, Denmark; eight grandchildren, Haley Jisa, Cole Paplham, Reece Piontek, Logan Paplham, Connor Paplham, Gavin Zellner, Owen Krier and Cullen Zellner, his parents, George and Irene Jisa, Kewaunee; one brother and one sister in law, Dennis and Lynn Jisa, Green Bay; one brother in law, Randall Gruetzmacher, Luxemburg; brothers in law and sisters in law, Paul (Cindy) Jerovetz, Luxemburg; Steve (Sallie) Jerovetz, Green Bay; his mother in law, Stella Jerovetz, Luxemburg; nieces and nephews. Bob was preceded in death by one sister, Jillienne Gruetzmacher, his father in law, Clarence Jerovetz, his grandparents, Joseph and Mary Jisa, Joseph and Francis Koudelka. Friends may call 4:00 to 8:00 pm, Sunday, June 7, 2015 at St. Therese Parish, St. Joseph-St. John Site, Pilsen. American Legion Carlton Post 538 memorial service 6:45 pm. Parish prayer service 7:00 pm on Sunday with Christal and Deacon Bob Wavrunek. Visitation will continue between 9:30 and 10:45 am on Monday, June 8, 2015 at St. Therese Parish, St. Joseph-St. John Site. Funeral 11:00 am on Monday at the church with Rev. Dennis Drury officiating. Burial in St. Joseph Cemetery, Pilsen with full military rites at graveside. We also would like to thank Heartland Home Health Care and Hospice staff for the wonderful care given to Bob in the last few months.
