Beatrice R. DePeau Beatrice R. DePeau, 88, Champion, died peacefully surrounded by her family on Saturday, June 27, 2015 at Helping Hearts Assisted Living, Luxemburg. She was born on February 2, 1927 in Thiry Daems to late John L. and Bessie E. (Nellis) Jadin. On June 12, 1948 she married Ervin J. DePeau, St. Odile Church, Thiry Daems. Together they farmed the home farm and she was a homemaker raising their four children. Beatrice was best known for her Belgian pies, homemade bread, popcorn balls and delicious desserts. Her enjoyments included praying the Rosary before Mass, visits to Our Lady of Good Help Chapel, playing cards, bingo and going out to eat. Survivors include her four children, Janice (Wayne) Moureau, Wayne (Sharon) DePeau, Don (Denise) DePeau, all of New Franken; Bruce (Lisa) DePeau, Casco; nine grandchildren, Christine (Pete) Baeten, Dean (Melissa) Moureau, David (Amy) DePeau, Jackie (Matt) Schleicher, Michelle DePeau, Josh (Tara) DePeau, Adam (Katie) DePeau, Kim (Aaron) Heim, Danielle (special friend Zach Seidl) DePeau; eleven great grandchildren, Kayla, Brittany, Travis, Nicole, Lauren, Claire, Emma, Laurel, Madeline, Briella and Audrina; one great-great-grandson, Camden, four sisters in law and one brother in law, Arlene Jadin, Thiry Daems; Pearl Brunner, Rita Moureau, Marie (Alden) Servais, all of New Franken. Beatrice was preceded in death by the love of her life, Ervin; one grandson, Brian Moureau; one brother Darrell Jadin; five brothers in law and two sisters in law, Cecil (Helen) DePeau, Doris (Tony) Virlee, Walter Moureau, Clem Brunner and LeLand DePeau, her father in law and mother in law, David and Odile (Mohimont) DePeau. Beatrice and Ervin were married nearly 60 years, and in the words of Beatrice "60 years was not nearly enough!" She was proud of her grandchildren and enjoyed talking about how happy and successful they all were. Beatrice took pride in handling the nickels for BINGO. Friends my call at the McMAHON FUNERAL HOME, LUXEMBURG, 4:00 to 8:00 pm Wednesday, July 1, 2015. Parish Rosary 7:00 pm on Wednesday. Visitation will continue between 9:00 and 10:15 am, Thursday, July 2, 2015 at St. Joseph Church, Champion. Funeral 10:30 am at the church with Rev. Andrew Kurz and Rev. Rowland DePeaux officiating. Entombment at the Shrine of The Good Shepherd Mausoleum, Green Bay. In lieu of flowers a memorial fund will be established in Beatrice's name. The family wishes to extend a heartfelt thank you to Bev and Harold Paye, the staff of Fred and Mamie's Home CBRF, Helping Hearts Assisted Living and Unity Hospice for being so helpful.
