Lilia Catherine Ciche, age 89 of Luxemburg, died July 3, 2015. She was born in the town of Luxemburg July 31, 1925, to the late Nicholas and Rosa Glaser. After her mother's untimely death in December 1926, she, along with her 6 week old sister Helen, were cared for by a special Aunt Barbara Zellner. Most of her early childhood years were spent at the Karl Zellner homestead in the town of Luxemburg. After her aunt passed away in February 1938, Lilia remained with her grandfather, Karl Zellner till his death in 1942. On November 17, 1945 she married Edward Ciche at St. Mary's Church in Luxemburg. Together they farmed in the town of Casco for 32 years. He preceded her in death May 20, 1997. Lilia returned to Luxemburg in September 2000 where she enjoyed baking (Kolaces were her grandchildren's favorite treat), and playing cards and domino's with her neighbors, friends and relatives. She was a member of St. Mary's Church and the Chrisitan Mothers Society. Survivors include a son and daughter-in-law, Alan (Cheryl), Kiel, WI. 4 grandchildren and their spouses Todd (Yoon) Ciche, Wildwood, Missouri, Lori (Bill)Bierne, New Holstein, WI, Ryan (Bethany) Ciche, Grafton, WI, Angela (Shaun) English, Broofield, WI; 9 great-grandchildren, Nolan, Isaac Bierne, twins Matthew and Jacob, Mikayla, Charles Ciche, Emily, Cora Ciche and Harrison English. Also surviving, her sister Helen Parma, Green Bay, WI, 3 half sisters, Gladys (Delbert) Guillette, Sheboygan, WI, Arlene Luedtke, Green Bay, WI and Mary Ann (John) Hager, Denmark, WI, many nieces, nephews, special cousins and many friends. She was preceded in death by husband Edward, grandparents, step mother Anna (Selner) and half brother Donald Glaser, brother-in-law and sister-in-law Charles Parma, Alvin and Evelyn Ciche, Gilbert and Eleanor Blahnik, John and Doris Ciche, Mary Ciche, many aunts, uncles and friends. Friends may call at St. Mary Church, Luxemburg, 9:00 am to 10:45 am on Wednesday, July 8, 2015. Funeral mass 11:00 am, Wednesday at the church with Rev. Milton Suess officiating. Entombment at Shrine of The Good Shepherd Mausoleum, Green Bay.
