Margaret S. Witek Margaret S. Witek, 91 of Green Bay passed away peacefully surrounded by family on Sunday evening, December 20, 2015. She was born on October 3, 1924 in Sugarbush to the late Edward and Margaret K. (Pirlot) DeGrand. On July 21, 1951 she married Emil M. Witek at St. Hubert Church in Sugarbush. He preceded her in death October 17, 2012. Family was extremely important to her, she loved talking about her children and grandchildren, whom she was most proud. Margaret's passion was her flower gardens, especially her roses. Survivors include her five children, Jane ( Dan) Marks, Suamico; Mary Brueckner, Green Bay; John (Barb) Witek, Neenah; Thomas (Susan) Witek, Menasha; Paul (Barb) Witek, Green Bay; ten grandchildren, Karissa (Josh) Dryak, Jeff (Misty) Brueckner, Hannah (Troy) Pahnke, Tessa (fiance' Charleton) Witek, Jack Witek, Kristi (Nathan) Behnke, Arianna Witek, Paige Witek, Brenna Witek and Lacey Witek; three great grandchildren, Alex, Andrew and Eloise; two sisters and one brother in law, Ceil Zellner, Luxemburg; Dolores and Norman Peters, Green Bay; one sister in law, Marcella Van Laanen, Green Bay; nieces and nephews. Margaret was preceded in death by, one grandchild, Emily Witek, three brothers and one sister in law, Norman DeGrand, Elmer (Leona) DeGrand and Henry DeGrand; six sisters and seven brothers in law, Elizabeth (Robert) VandeHei, Rose (Peter) Heezen, Jake VanVen Roy, Sister Eugene "Julia" DeGrand, Agnes (Wilbert) Haezert, Mary (Anthony) Drobeck, LaVerne (Joseph) Kanugh, Michael Zellner. Friends may call at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Church, 2771 Oakwood Drive, Green Bay, Saturday, December 26, 2015 between 8:30 am and 10:15 am. Funeral 10:30 am, Saturday at the church with Father Paul Demuth officiating. Burial in Fort Howard Cemetery, Green Bay.
