Victor A. Karnopp, 80, Green Bay died peacefully Sunday evening, January 10, 2016 in Green Bay, with his wife by his side. He was born in the town of Montpelier on March 27, 1935 to the late Frank G. and Anna (Luebeck) Karnopp. On January 18, 1958 he married Joan A. Macco at St. Hubert Church, Sugar Bush. Victor served in the United States Navy during December of 1955 thru September of 1957. He was employed with Fort Howard Paper Company for over 38 years. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and loved his dogs. Survivors include his wife of nearly 58 years, Joan and their two sons, Charles "Chuck" (Jane) Karnopp, Sugarbush; Daniel "Dan" (Traci Rae) Karnopp, Ashwaubenon; seven grandchildren, Taylor (Sarah) Jorgenson, Cameron (Jessie) Jorgenson, Anna (Mike) Salm, Jessica Karnopp, Amanda (Jed) Collins, Laura Karnopp and Tom Karnopp; five great grandchildren , Jayden, Logan, Emma, Garrett and Kendra; one sister in law, Martha Karnopp, Luxemburg; one brother in law and three sisters in law, Jim (Joan) Macco, Bellevue; Ruth Macco, IL; Mary Lou Todd, Dyckesville; nieces and nephews. Victor was preceded in death by, four brothers, Harvey, Raymond, Leroy (Evelyn) Karnopp and Harold Karnopp; three brothers in law and one sister in law, Dorothy (Tony) Cappelle; Don Macco; Warren Todd; his father in law and mother in law, Jack and Marie Macco. Friends may call 3:00 to 7:00 pm Thursday, January 14, 2016 at Bethel Baptist Church, Allouez. Closing prayer service 7:00 pm on Thursday. Visitation will continue 9:00 am until 11:15 am, Friday, January 15, 2016 at the church. Funeral 11:30 am Friday at the church with Pastor Kirk Leach officiating.
