Helen (Kersten) Mleziva, 70, passed away with her family at her side. She was born in Green Bay the daughter of Irvin and Coletta (Schauer) Kersten. She graduated from Green Bay East High School in 1963, then attended Milwaukee School for Nursing, she met her future husband Roger during her short time working at St. Vincents as a nurse. On May 27, 1967, she married Roger Mleziva, together they worked on the family farm and auto business, raised six children. Helen enjoyed baking and cooking favorite meals for her family, fishing at Little Sturgeon, reading, bird watching and spending time with her grandkids. Survivors are her husband Roger, six children and their spouses; Karen (Jeremy) Parish, Mike (Tammy) Mleziva, Paul (Lona) Mleziva, Kathy (Jeremy) Noll, Anne (Kris) Gilley, Peter (Sadie) Mleziva; eight grandchildren, Emily Mleziva, Shaefer, Maddi, Ethan and Braden Mleziva, Eli and Tessa Gilley, Elsie Mleziva. One sister and brother-in-law June (Bill) Groeschel; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, Claude (Terry) Mleziva, Bob Suess, Larry (Nancy) Mleziva, twelve nieces and nephews, many other relatives and her very special dog, Sam. She was preceded in death by her parents; her father and mother in law, Louis and Beatrice Mleziva; sister-in-law Rita Suess. Friends may call TODAY, Monday January 18, 2016 from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm, at St. Mary Church, Luxemburg, with a prayer service at 6:00 pm.
